now he-s been reduced to nothing but a -dumb hammer swinging brute without magic-, (how does he not see shang tsung-s betrayal coming) he-s always somebody-s goon, and a punching bag for other characters. (beaten and blinded by kitana is a good example.
i miss -the real shao kahn- man, they really did massacre this character. i hope in future instalments they put respect on his name and return him into what he used to be before, but knowing nrs- track record, i wouldn-t be too hopeful.

Ok, General Shao's design is on point. He is a general, and not the real threat here. but as a KHAN, i hate Shao's design in MK11, its too over designed. In MK9 its just shoulder armor, and human skin. Its a simple bare design that gives -i dont need anything fancy to crush your skull- vibe

Raiden-s my favorite character, but seeing him bow to Shao Kahn in MK9 was definitely a low for Raiden I didn-t expect. I understand why he probably felt that victory wasn-t even an option anymore, but your the GOD OF THUNDER!

I-m so sad and frustrated lol Raiden and General Shao are not blood brothers in any realm or timeline (I really enjoyed that terrible movie --MK: Annihilation-- and that plot twist was fun to watch) smhlmao

I hate how much they changed Shao Kahn design he looks like a mutant monster now I get that it was hinted he wasn-t exactly human but all the mysterious aura and screen presence he once had is gone

The MK9 battle was legendary. Raiden, juiced up by the Elder Gods, blasting Shao Kahn while Kahn eats it up like it was nothing. It really felt like 2 OP heavyweights going against each other.

Props to MK1 Raiden, the general has been nothing but antagonistic and he still offers him a compliment and a hand up. Only a pity Shao couldn-t see past his paranoia.
