Hey Griffin, thanks for coming to talk to our class today. I learned a lot! In terms of that wobbly string video, it reminds me of the water sine wave effect created when you tape a hose across a subwoofer playing around 23 to 25 hz, then film it with a camera at 24 fps ( /watch? v=uENITui5_jU ). however I don't think they're using a camera with a rolling shutter. Do you think using a rolling shutter would give it a different effect? Also good luck Chuck on your film festivals!

Did you not use a script for this episode? It was a great episode, I just noticed that there were moments where you seemed to take an extra long break to think of what to say next. Also, I thought Russ was gonna be on the show from now on? Has it just been too busy for you two lately?

I'm an aspiring filmmaker sophomore in high school currently enrolled in film classes. If you could help me out by viewing my last video, a little cinematic shot compilation, and possibly giving a like, I would really appreciate it. -Weaver Films

Got to comment on how messy the timeline is with Final Cut Pro X. Life becomes so much easier using nested sequences within Premier Pro and it allows you to quickly re order your project without issues with clips moving around

I used IMDB upload for my short Good People Its 15 min and it took 24 hours to process! and of course it looked horrible once it finally was up on the site. Better off sending in a dvd or bluray.

I have a question about the music in your documentary. Where did get it? Did you buy loops or have some score it? Also, do you know how much would a semi-pro score would cost?

Hey indymogul, when I leave school I want to become a D, O, P. Any tips. And if it is possible can you make a video on good techniques and things to look out for?

My question is there any one place where you can find all these film festivals? Its so hard to even start if you dont know where to look!

Griffin, I really think you should look into Bend Film Fest. Your documentary sounds right up their proverbial alley!

Griffin please add a link to raw files from your BMPC so we can see it un-compressed and color correct it our selves! Thanks!

Are you going to submit to SIFF? You're not too late for the late deadline. I'd love to see 'Sriracha' in Seattle!
