But. nice job of 'em nontheless. Hopefully it gives the likes of BMD/Panasonic/Sony some food for thought regarding very capable videocentric cameras that have an all-in-one character. Sure, rig stuff up all you want, but I also like that you can use these cameras almost 'as-is', without much of the frankenrigging at all. I agree that vloggers shouldn't use a cinema camera (although I blame BMD for marketing it as such that when selfie-holding the camera the REC-button can conviently be pressed, but on shoots you can use yourself as a talent stand-in to check framing and such, before the actual talent arrives. Or just needing a high or low angle in general, maybe angling it to cut out certain reflections that are ruining the visibility of the screen.

Not sure why this Blackmagic monitor thing is shared so many times. 1) the camera is not intended to be a vloging camera and two you can get external monitors pretty cheap, so why go through the hassle of doing this and ending up with an inverted images. This story is the problem with the internet. Any thing dumb can get traction because it's click bait.

It would be helpful if you linked a lens support attachment that could work with the anamorphic lens in a rigged configuration. I have a GH-4 so I switch to 4: 3 when shooting anamorphic does the GH-5 lack this feature? Additionally will the 1: 8 squeeze unsqueeze with current EVF models?

the screen you showed was TILTA flip screen cost around 349$ and comes with m. 2 ssd usb c adapter. you have to change it your self but TILTA says it's very easy. Release somewhere up to march 2020
