as an actress (obviously not an A list one) I often find the opposit and would be happy for crew to talk to me since theres usually a tonne of down time when people are setting up scenes, ive made TONNES of actor friends on set but in 10 years I can count crew member that I've had any decent iteraction with on one hand - I find most actors Ive worked with are fine being talked too but often we arent treat like we deserve to be a part of it - I get that some crew are busy solving issues that pop up but were usually the last to know of a change, no one listens to our questions for clarity and sometimes even just get orders barked at us in the moment - theres often a feeling of 'us' and 'the crew' being seperate cliques with usually only the runners spending any time talking or being polite to us and it make the whole experiance cold and miserable

Assistant Directors make things SO MUCH EASIER! I had an AD on one of my projects, and it all worked out enormously better than without one. Granted, my AD also had extra camera and audio equipment and provided us with shooting locations, but just having that right hand person that knows the logistics, has experience, and has clear head to make decisions with you is beyond necessary!

You all should cover industry jargon, especially on set jargon. Also covering what a professional set should look like and going over who does what and their roles would be sweet. I think a huge problem in the indi film community is a lack of professional knowledge which makes final products look like trash.

12: 15 WOW really? I'm the kind of person who would talk to everybody unless they are busy, I don't care if that is the king or tarantino or the garbage collector. But I would never ask anybody to be in my next movie or tell them how to do things if they are not my friend or If I'm not paying them.

This is pretty cool and interesting. Right now I'm mostly just vlogging by myself, but I enjoy filmmaking and am trying to trying to incorporate aspects of filmmaking into my vlogs.

11: 29 I hate to break it to you, but that isn't what a knight in the 1800s would have looked like, or even functioned like. A knight from the 1400s. maybe

. I need that assistant director app.
It needs to have an some kind of artificial intelligence scheduling tool in it. And a reminding tool.
