Looks wise he would make a great Cable, but he'd need to put on a LOT of weight and muscle to play cable.
Though they really need to do with Cable what they did with Wolverine when they picked Jackman, and pick more of a non familiar name/face to play the role, so they don't just look at the character as James Bond with a facial scar
