i'm not sure i get all the hype over lady bird. don't get me wrong i liked the themes of the movie and everything, the focus on a strong female story and directed by a woman, but as far as movies go i thought it was a pretty average coming of age movie

Even if both Irish and American accents are rhotic (curled rs, it is still tremendously tricky to switch from one to the other. She has a strong and typical Irish accent, and her rendition of the US accent is almost perfect. Fantastic talent.
