We heard Henry Winkler speak about his learning struggles when my family attended a Kiwanis convention in Denver (pretty sure) in or around 2000. My daughter was 14 or 15. When the presentation was over and we were all leaving, Mr. Winkler exited through the same door. On impulse, my daughter turned and approached him. They had a few words and as she started to return in our direction he gave her a little kiss on the forehead. OH MY! Such a small but sweet gesture. She lit up like the Rockfeller Christmas tree! She's in her mid30s now. Still remembers when Fonzie kissed her.

I was very young when he was The Fonz. He was the Fonz. First time I saw him in an interview after Happy Days was done it blew my mind. Plus he kind of didn't really like the character. It made sense though; if you were a former shakespearian actor and the biggest role of your life turns out to be some pop sitcom guy. probably not how you planned your life to go. At 7 years old it was stunning to find out Henry Winkler didn't like the Fonz

Just in case anyone cares, the night I gave Penny Marsciarelli a ride to her parent's home on the back of my chopped Harley after having a drink with her & Gary at Gus & Roman's Night Club back in the early 1970s, I was wearing a BLACK leather jacket! I have NOT worn a brown leather Bomber's Jacket since I was 4 years old. Her parents lived in a mansion on the west side of Sheridan Road in Highwood Illinois! NOT WISCONSIN where I live now!

Barry is so bad. Such a waste of talent (except for Winkler who never could act and gets so much work anyway. Hollywood writers can often be so mediocre, yet clearly oblivious to that fact. I think they sincerely believe there's anything edgy in the show. Blame it on the rampant nepotism in the Industry. I felt so embarrassed for the actors. It was the last straw for my dropping HBO.

LOVE Both of these guys. Does anyone know what word that is? At 6: 35 - Winkler says Don't scream; don't make a _mochus. _ I'm guessing it's a Yiddish word / presumably means don't make a fuss. But does anyone know how to spell this word? :D

This is Peter DiNardo I met Henry winkler when I was running a restaurant in the Hilton hotel 25 years ago he is bye far the nicest man you can ever meet and he is also generous with his time a total great guy

Not many interviews where I watch simply smiling all the way through it. HW is beloved and has that Jimmy Stewart way about him that you feel so good just listening to him. He is great in BARRY

This was delightful. I'm so glad this man is still able to entertain us and he should be very proud. It's not easy to transcend multiple generations in entertainment and still be amazing.

I met Henry at an Al Gore rally in 1992 in Columbia Mo. weeks before the 92 election. He was the opening speaker. He was the most courteous and gracious guy.
