I think the reason these guys keep interrupting Dave is not because they want to to keep talking. but they do it unconsciously to hide their fear or unease with the animals. They become bit of neurotic and try to express it with fun and humor. either way, it's insulting to the animals, the audience who love them and Dave's passion.

I love how whenever this guy comes on the show he like takes over. Like hes always saying have a seat in the most calm and enthusiastic way its so funny like jimmy just surrenders all power to the man with the big animals
