My cousin was in grad school and a immigrant from the Philippines (I'm half Filipino. He parked cars (valet) in a posh restaurant in Beverly Hills and Kevin James and His wife were exiting and he went to get their vehicle. Kevin James' wife is Filipina American and she said 'thank you' in Tagalog and my cousin said a few words in Tagolog in kind.
He said Kevin James looked at him like how dare you talk to my wife and didn't even tip.
This was ten years ago, I never believe stories about celebs and athletes but all the celebs my cousin told who frequented that restaurant were kind but after talking to Kevin James was his worst experience the two years he worked there.
His persona when the lights come on is so likable, to bad many, many stories about him are true.

No doubt, Adam and Kevin had to rehearse their Gentlemen, start your engines command a few times at Michigan International Speedway. I can't even do it myself without cracking up; I bet when the news first broke in 2010 that they were going to be the grand marshals at that June race, they had no idea that many NASCAR fans, myself included, would vote their hilarious command as the greatest of all time in history!
