While the lines were largely drawn along religious lines. It was fundamentally a conflict around national identity, those who wanted independence from the UK and reunification with Ireland following centuries of being treated as second class, and those who wished to remain within the UK. Unfortunately, a breaking point arose and it resulted in terrible atrocities on both sides. However, saying it was a conflict around religion is oversimplifying the issues. It was and is about national identity. Regrettably, tension is starting again due to Brexit and the British Governments complete lack of understanding and respect towards the people on the Island of Ireland and a complete dereliction of their responsibilities to protect the Good Friday agreement. Peace is fragile and Embers can become fires. I fear we will see a new period of troubles in Northern Ireland particularly as reunification becomes increasingly more likely and the British Government seems completely devoid of morals and are actively stoking trouble for short-term political gain to get better trade agreements with the EU. Very sad to see when so much good work had been done to reconcile both communities.

I really liked Barb and Star go to Vista Del Mar. It is funny, silly and hilarious. Jamie Dornan is very good as a comedian, he should do more goofy parts. My favorite movies of his are Anthropoid and Wild Mountain Thyme. Completely different stories and both really good. Can't wait to see Belfast. Hope it gets here soon.

I haven't had a rush on an actor in many decades, but Jamie Dornan has changed that. He is gorgeous. All of his TV interviews, including this one on Jimmy Kimmel, demonstrate what a lovely, modest and down to earth man he is. I agree with the post that said Jamie would make a great James Bond.

When I was getting rushed in college I was challenged by my overseer to wear a Velcro pink towel and sing everlasting love for everyone in the dining hall. And I did it. wasnt as good as Jamie Dornanbut Im proud of it.
