Love him. Great guy. I wish more people were like him. People near where I am are finally getting normal, but for a while I'd get berated for not wearing a mask even though it was optional. There are still a few lunatics who cut their angry eyes, but they lack the numbers to get vocal now

I think all parents get vacation amnesia. I know the last trip we did I had at least one moment of why did I do this to myself? I'm never taking the kids anywhere again. And then, for some reason, I do it again.
Jim is always funny because he's RIGHT!

his dad wasn't the only one, my dad to us to a war movie
we walked in 15 minutes late
watch the end
then the first 15 minutes
and dad would say, we are leaving
Me: but I want to see how it ends
dad: the Americans win, again, lets go

On my eighth birthday, I saw the second act of The Sound of Music movie first. We got to the point where we told my father movies began 30 minutes before they actually started. And I was convinced my father had children for the labor too!

His parents sent him to the store to buy cigarettes? Yeah, that was completely normal. I'm only a couple months older than him, and I had to go to the end of our street to get a pack of cigarettes for my mom (from a vending machine.

This is why modern talk shows are so lame. Gaffigan goes slightly off script by asking what KImmel was growing and Kimmel goes immediately into defensive mode and clams up on such a simple question.

It's kind of disappointing that in a supposedly Christian country neither of them knew that the last letter of the Greek alphabet is not zeta but omega. as in, I am the Alpha and Omega.

We went to movies like that. They were cheap enough you could just go without thinking about it. They played 2 movies and you could walk in anytime. It was better, easier and affordable

No, his dad was not the only one. My dad did the same thing. We would go to the movie, watch it the end, then we would watch the beginning and then walk out during the middle.

My dad took us to see Disney's Fantasia and we left about 20 minutes in because he thought it would be like Bambi and it wasn't. It won awards for animation but not much story.
