Was there a law prohibiting colonizers from invading/colonizing/renaming/stealing this Indigenous continent? The majority of Caucasian people, especially, still treat people of color (including me) as if we are still invisible and believe that's funny. A lot of Americans also/still don't want to acknowledge that Indigenous people/descendants were already here, before colonialism, and has/have been fighting/protecting these lands. Yet, none of you actually/really care. No one wants to also address that that the majority of so-called presidents were/are old Caucasian men and continue to have old Caucasian men. Heck. America was never the actual/original/real name of this Indigenous continent, and you lot still won't acknowledge that, either. Americans are already/still a mess in a myriad of ways and getting worse.

As a rural Texan. I will be voting for Beto. We need to have someone that is more connected to the human plight of all people and not the right wing evangelical Christian thinking that lacks the inclusion of all. I am all for the 2nd and gun ownership, but I am also for common sense safety precautions. I am pro-life that believes that all women should be able to make their own choices about their bodies. As a Texan I believe I should stay out of other people's lives and let them live the way they choose. Our southern neighbors have brought a wonderful culture to Texas and They are welcome in my book. Our state motto is Friendly, we need to live up to that.

Can Dems please make O'Rourke the presidential candidate for 2024?
Biden is too old and his approval ratings too low to win.
Harris as a woman, especially Black woman, has no chance to win in a misogynistic society like the US.
Buttigieg probably won't convince a lot of swing voters either because most of them don't like gays.
O'Rourke seems like the only one who could win over enough Swing voters to make sure Trump never sees the oval office again.
I love that Beto speaks his mind with no filter and calls someone a motherf. when they act like one and that he shows his enragement at the NRA and their paid off lawmakers.

I think the burden here about immigration should fall on the united states. not the local citys who's taxes could never pay to accomidate all of those seeking entry. i get the long wait times for the govt to act. but we all only got two hands and both of them are filled with the business of the american people. if the govt lets them in then the govt needs to do a better job. americans cant even get into canada without showing proof they has the cash to stay. or whatever. idk. this is not ellis island anymore. the standing room here is pretty tight

Plz fellow Texans vote this man in. Abbott has had many years and he focuses on trump more than texas. If he spent half the time working with all elected officials to fix the problems we have, that he spent taking away other states votes for Biden, and making up and promoting the big lie, I d back him regardless of party. But he went after texas citizens and took rights away that the overwhelming majority of Texans don t want. It s all such a joke! How are we fighting for democracy here?

I love his policies or idea for policies on immigration. We treat migrants like they are a burden when immigration is what has built America. It's statistically proven every time there's an increase in immigration that it helps our economy. I don't know why they don't view the job crisis right now where there's two jobs for every one American and the immigration crisis as the same thing. We need these people working for us or else we are going to face a recession without them

I am from Scandinavia but follow American politics because it affects the whole world. And the world needs leaders like Beto O'Rourke who care about those they lead, rather than politicians who only care about personal power, and satisfying the corporations that pay their campaigns, tell them what to think and make laws that don't benefits the population. Republicans blame Biden for the immagrates, BUT really was trump's fault. When xtrump was in Office stopped funding Central America with supplies, Republicans. Trump's last 16 month's was locking up thoses in cages. Separating kids from parents or relatives, without keeping records of kids with family members separated. Why do Republicans screw things up, and leave it to Demcracts to fix it. Because Republicans act first, and then blame Demcracts for it.

he needs to explain in detail how he is going to make something that takes 6 years turn into something that takes 6 weeks. Beto needs to step away from the sound bites and start getting into the meat of his polices with actual details regarding the process of making his agenda work, not just the wanted outcomes of said agenda. I don't like Greg Abbott, but beto just seems over rehearsed and inauthentic

Jimmy, immigration is not a difficult problem to understand. American industry wants cheap labor so the rest of the Americas have cheap stuff, like cheap tomatoes and chicken. Cheaper housing, cheaper babysitting, and cheaper nursing of older people. The employers are they ones to blame, but the rest of us benefit from the cheap labor. So nothings going to change.

Beto is like a cold glass of water on the arid desert of evil politicians. A real man of the people. He addresses the issues with real resolutions. I've watched all the podcasts of his travels all over the state and his personal conversations with real people. Texas, save yourselves and vote Beto. Wish I could, but I don't live there.
