He narrated the foreword in my husband's great grandmother's book, Trials of the Earth- a firsthand account of his great grandmother (Mary Mann Hamilton) living in the late 1800s. He also has helped promote it because he is from MS, is a co-owner of a restaurant and has a home outside of Clarksdale, MS and has long advocated for sharing and preserving authentic MS stories and MS history. This book is one of the earliest firsthand accounts of pioneer life on the Delta and talks about the struggles and resilience of an ordinary strong woman from her perspective which is also rare because she was a woman.

shame on you jimmy for your ageism. you were putting him down SEVERAL times and putting him on the spot. your narcissism is showing more and more each day. clearly you are intimidated by him and felt like kicking him just because you feel 'younger'. also super inappropriate to talk to an African American person about monkeys on tv. this was uncomfortable to see but Morgan Freeman always seems like a class act no matter what

I remember seeing Moran first on then soap Another World--he played an architect. When Morgan left to make movies, I was worried the film thing wouldn't work out for him. gee. I think he's done OK.
