From Joost van Dongen comes the indie game Proun. A strange racing game where you follow a rail through colorful geometric shapes. And it's free/pay what you want! EDIT: Used to be anyways. Now it's a minimum of $1 Download at Or Watch the higher-quality version of this review here

Awesome! This is the kind of stuff I want to see more of. Simple, free(relatively free at least, fun, original, original, not to orginal and a littlie original. It just seems like most of the game developers -safe it- at leste with big titles and that's ok, but I'd really like it if I could play sometinh original from time ot time. -why change a winning team? - Because otherwise there is no progress and that might get boring. usj. I hate that. -boring-: s

-sl2mmer Now, linux games, there are lots of them, the ones I'm currently using are: Frets On Fire (Guitar Hero clone, Frozen Bubble (Bust-a-move/Puzzle Bobble clone) this one you can play multiplayer on-line, Neverball is a very good game, Supertux is a great Super Mario Bros clone, Icebreaker, Ri-li, Slingshot, Teeworlds and Yabause.

looks really cool, and original, but I'll wait for the iOS version to be released, cause it looks like it could be a epic mobile title, and he should definitely see about negotiating with Microsoft and Sony about getting this on their indy stores, could be really popular

-Shiqna1 I have quite a few retro-related videos planned for the near future, yes. Not the least of which is a system review of the Atari ST computer. Also lots of old games, many of which are not PC games! I'm hoping to start branching out a bit more with these quickie videos.

1. Some of them are from desura
2 I don't watch Projared (Except for his pokemon LP)
3. Someone on That guy with the glasses played polygon storm or Neko land? I didn't know that.
I don't watch any TGWTG members other than AT4W, Nostalgia Critic, and Todd.

-svenneri I've played that one, reminded me a bit of Marble Blast Ultra on XBLA.
And yes, I use various Linux distros for various uses. I still use Windows for the most part though, for PC games and editing applications, but I love me some Ubuntu.

Of anything I'd say it most reminds me of the track Big Blue on F-Zero X (the track where most of it is played on a big tube thing. Looks a neat game though alas I don't think my old laptop looks like it'd be quite up to the demands of the game.

Aww. It's no longer fully pay-what-you-want anymore.
Minimum donation (for me, at least) is 1-.
I know it's not much, but definitely not including all one could want to pay, especially just to get a feel for it for a quick second: /

-sl2mmer Well in the classics area you have DOSbox for DOS games, fceux for NES, Gens for Genesis games, zsnes for snes games and GMAMEUI for MAME games. I'm sure there are emulators for other platforms but those are the ones I use.

Reminds me of Neverball, it's a linux game. Do you have linux installed on any of your pcs? If not I recommend it, try some linux games, there are pretty good ones actually!
Nice review, love the quickies!
