it is both interesting and sad that there were games like this back in the day, interesting in that you can do whatever and it has a very serious tone to it, the sad part is because of the evolution of those games now we have games like -shudder- surgeon simulator, then again, about 90% of any game with the word -simulator- in the title is a very cheap feeling game. [edit]: also, for any trolls out there who tell me -surgeon simulator was a joke game- yes I know that, I know it's primary purpose in life is to be a joke and fail at everything it does, my point is that the days of the serious and about as educational as a TV drama games about medicine are long gone, and now are the days of surgery games that feel like you're controlling a doctor who recreationally uses horse tranquilizers! -snirk-

Hey folks. searching for a old games name. Maybe someone could help. You are an possession of an space ship. Task is to infuse planets with life and have manage its evolution. I remember there were 4 different lifeforms and you had to find the fitting planets. I think it's an dos era game. But was also available on cd. Thanks for the help guys!

I got this in a compilation boxed set with like Chessmaster and such, PC. Did anyone else have this? I can't even remember if it was on floppy or CD (the compilation, much less what else was on it. It is where I learned that almost any problem a person has can be traced to the appendix, though, which needs to be removed, NOW.

I have fond memories of emulating this game back when I was like 10 years old, I had extreme difficulty finding the numbers for the pager thing, and actually managed to get someone (I believe I found them on some forum) who still had theirs to personally email it to me so that I could play the game. Good friggin times.

I could never do the appendectomy right. I'd always end up nicking the cecum and spilling liquid shit all over my patient's insides. And no matter how well I try to clean it all up, then pump the patient full of antibiotics, I still get shit for it and the surgery's considered a failure.

this game looks awesome! I've never heard of it, and all the little features like the mask and gloves and the small booklet on surgery and even the copy protection. it really shows how much love was put into this game. thanks for showing me this! I'm gonna go download this now!

Have you ever played Emergency Room Disaster Strikes?
I just remember it have actors in cutscenes rather than the graphical depiction here. It was neat. I'm not sure when it came out. I got it way later for like a dollar or in a 2 for 5 bin.

I'm sure you get a lot of requests, but i think you'd really enjoy Metal Mutant. It's truly bizarre looking and was an interesting attempt at a new type of action puzzle game. I played it on DOS but I'm assuming the Amiga version is better quality.

In case you're wondering, yes I've had several coworkers comment that they feel oddly compelled to put their gloves on in that exact manner. Despite the fact that since I work at a hospital lab, we don't meet any patients XD

7: 49 I can only imagine what the nurse would say if my doctor just decided to cut into me about 20, 000 times more than he needed to. I could only imagine Clint shouting -Wheeee! - while doing that, and laughing maniacally.
