Very disappointed with customer support and how they handled
my case. Spend $140 for keyboard and lasted only 18 months, and that's because
of the latest software upgrade from RAZER. I still have 3 months of warranty
left, but they won't honor it since i bought it from Amazon third party. It
shouldn't matter who I purchase it from as long as its new. Very unfair and I
Am replacing all my RAZER gear with Logitech. I will NEVER recommend RAZER to
my gaming community. Imagine if you purchased a $3K laptop from them and they
treat you like this> I have a case number if anyone wants to read several
days of emails.

I never get the appeal of chiclet keyboards. Sure, it's acceptable on laptop keyboards to cut down on space (and may be superior to some rubber dome/scissor keyboards depending on the quality of either types. But in my use, it just hurts my fingers using such things. Little travel, terrible ergonomics. I've used the basic Apple keyboards for those things and they are drop dead awful. It hurts looking at them even in this video because I can imagine my fingers pressing them and then hitting the bottom with force to spare.

I hate that this is the only option for gaming chiclet keyboard. I know it sounds weird putting gaming and chiclet in the same sentence but no matter what, chiclet is very quiet; gaming at night will never be a problem. I've used mine heavily all the way from the day it appeared at my local store, unfortunately, the left ctrl key starts to break. Right now, the best chiclet keyboard I can find is logitech mx keyboard but damn it, I want rgb.

I've been using the deathstalker for a year now, this exact model too. But luckily I found a pristine condition used one for 40$ Canadian, with box, paperwork, everything: p I love it personally. I actually prefer clicklet to mechanical. I just don't like how when you press a mechanical key, your finger travels 8 feet downwards before it comes back up. I like my super quick tapping, that doesn't come with 4, 000db of noise.

I've had this keyboard for 3 years and now a key stopped working (r key. And its really -sticky- or just really hard to push in making it really tiring for your hands/fingers. It was good in the start but it got worse and worse i wouldnt recomend this keyboard.
EDIT: would just spend a bit more for a mechanical keyboard or go for something else because its not a very good keyboard imo.

Damn, Razer make the world's very best mice but their keyboards, despite looking fantastic in every glossy magazine & website, leave a lot to be desired. You should've got the less expensive Roccat Ryos Tkl which is German, features -thumbster- keys and, AFAIK, remains completely unsurpassed for price, reliability & design.
Ensure that you treat yourself to a Deathadder mouse, tho.

If you have a mac type keyboard and are used to keys like the razer deathstalker has it's a great keyboard to us. your already used to keys like those of the razer deathstaker (most likely) then like i said its a great keyboard. I have had mine for 5 months and it works great for me before i had a mac so i am very adjusted to the keys

got the new blackwidows X chroma a month ago, i'm all for mechanical keys but i always prefered browns and reds from cherry, the build quality and the switches in the new chroma are actually pretty good and the build quality might is unmatched at the price range, you may want to test it out is you find it anywhere

We have one of these keyboards in my college's linguistics lab because although it's overpriced as a keyboard, as a precision input device for a computer it's more useful and cheaper than these psychological testing buttons devices that are 600 dollars each and have a very few buttons.

I have the Razer Ornata Chroma, which is actually a mechanical membrane hybrid RGB keyboard. When I heard about it online, I didn't expect to like it at first, but then I tried it out in the store. I found the keys surprisingly just as clicky as mechanical, with the added novelty of RGB.
