Barney was in full swing between the ages of 11-14. my friend and I made it a ritual every summer to buy a cheap little knockoff barney and find new horrible ways to torture it. Deep Freezing, grinding his head off on a bike wheel, dragging it behind the car, and finishing with fireworks and eventually nailing it to a wall in his basement. It sounds like we were sick little monkeys, but other than that we were pretty good kids. Pubescent Testosterone, man. It comes on strong.

Oh yeah, speaking of those Barney-killing games, I remember reading a story about an evil Barney from the files of this game called Barneystein. It was lengthy for a game about killing a purple dinosaur as I believe it was in two parts that covered the protagonist's childhood and adulthood. I never got the game to work, but I still have the faintest memory of that story.
The 90s were really something when it came to DOS games.

Hope I'm not bugging you. I was wondering if you've ever played any RPG Maker games or farted around on one of the engines? There's even a free engine that (as far as I know) isn't related to the official company that makes RPG Maker. Wolf RPG Editor. There are tons of free games on the Internet, and quite a few are better than the ones that you pay money for.

I once played an online game in which you kill the teletubbies, and then end it off by killing Barney. It's ags ago, and don't remember who made or what it was called. I am curious, though. Does anyone know the game I talk of, and if so, do you know if it was made by this godzilla dude, or at least inspired by his work? It seems a bit simular.

I remember there was a LOT of the kill Barney DOS games. The main one I kind of remember was called Die Blarney! where you played as Viking in a top down, killing a horde of Barney's. It probably inspired me to make one of my first Flash games, Barney popped up in a field and you gunned him down. Man it was simple, but satisfying.

There still is a widespread fascination with killing Barney the Dinosaur, apparently: my niece (10) and nephew (7) and their friends are STILL singing the SAME songs, decades later o. O great vidja, as-always: I'm seem to have the title -Prezzie Hunt- stuck in my head.

I wish all my ms_dos games and most of my windows 95 games would work on windows 7.
I had more fun on them than any other game these days. It's probably the charm of rollercoaster tycoon, the excitement of warcraft 2 or the world of kings quest.

Some of these comments says they are from a week ago. Spooky. Anyway.
I do seem to remember a bizarre number of violent/sarcastic Christmas games from the nineties. Strange. But always entertaining to watch, especially in LGR video format!

I remember my brother playing this game and it making me cry when I was a kid. There was also a hunter -simulator- where you shot reindeer as Santa. I don't remember for the life of me what it was called but my brother enjoyed that one a lot.
