TBH I remember enjoying simple games like this, with just its simple high score-ish nature and fast paced gameplay, it can get not only hectic, but also addicting as steel balls are heavy. And the glory of Windows 9x man, even though I lived with XP. Thanks LGR for making me wish I traveled back in time to when Win9x was new. XD

I hate how they put the part about being over 10 years old. Like they must have had much lower expectations of this game than they shoulda had. It looks like a game I would have played hours on end with my mom and aunt if it was the -fresh software- in my childhood home. We would spend hours on our Compaq Presario playing tons of pc games (Most notably The Sims)

Yes yes thank you! Iv used to play this on my grandpas computer a very long time ago on those game compilation cd's. However since there were a million games on those cds i couldn't find the game anymore. Ive livedmost of my life without knowing the name of this game. Untill now: thank you LGR! I absolutely love your videos.

At the Colonel's Bequest with Pushing Up Roses, stopped for about 15 minutes, then randomly remembered some old shareware game about a jewel thief, did a web search, and here you are again! XD

This is the game that taught me that peridot and lapis lazuli exist! Wow, I've never seen the diamond or citrine screens before, nor whatever was right before citrine. What was that pink circle gem? I think the farthest I ever got as a kid was to peridot.

do you know of an old game called Oh Man im blown or Oh Dude Im Blown? it was a patch or something that changed all the enemies and sounds of a game called crystal quest. thought you would get a kick out of it if you have never seen it before.

It looks stretched out to widescreen, yeah. I just did a side by side comparison and it is totally Duncan from the 4th help screen in the game, haha. Such a weird sprite choice for a game like this, makes me wonder the story behind it.

Hey LGR, I've seen you reviewing a lot of (old) games but I can't remember seeing you reviewing a RTS. Why? Back in the 90's the RTS was a big genre and there were some great RTS games, like Warcraft 2 and Red Alert and more.

Have you done a review or LP of -Eric the Unready- or do you plan to? I didn't see it anywhere in your videos. I think it would be a great game to do with Pushing Up Roses, though it takes a few sittings to completely finish. :)
