Hi! -devil's- advocate here, I just got the slightly newer version of this keyboard and I love it. I just wanted to point out that for people with different plans for this keyboard, I find a lot of the downsides you point out here are not so bad. I'm using this for school, because I have carpal tunnel, wanted something tilted and like the mechanical feel/noise. And I am doing a looot of typing and coding as an engineering student. is that work -serious- enough; )?
1) most importantly to me. as a person with small hands and small fingers, I actually really like how close the keys are. I no longer have to jerk my hands this way and that to reach the whole board (which hurts my elbow tendons. And yes, my fingers are thicker than a sharpie, but still smaller than an average man's. Just a different perspective to think about--though it's not one I saw in any keyboard reviews while I was shopping: (
2) number layout has been shifted back to the left!
3) I also ordered their number pad, also wireless and mechanical etc, so the numbers thing is not really an issue for that reason too.
4) the num pad also has arrow keys in a traditional diamond pattern: ) Likely since I'm not a gamer, I didn't find this to be as viscerally distressing as many of your viewers!
5) I also don't own multiple keyboards or have a hobby of trying out different setups, so I wasn't super uncomfortable about having top get used to a slightly different set-up

If you like the general look, then pick up a slimmer and better keyboard, the Logitech K380. As a writer I've written numerous blog posts and published articles using this keyboard alone, and with the aesthetic similar to (but thinner than) the lofree, capability of syncing to three different devices, Bluetooth, and oh I don't know, somewhere around FORTY BUCKS and easily available at lots of retail outlets, it's just. oh, it's just a wonderful thing.
I was curious about the lofree. Glad I've done research and watched multiple reviews to talk me out of it.

OH MY GOSH. They actually did it. Every key is supported solely by the switch. You look at any real keyboard and you can't move a key physically to the left or right, only inward or outward. The borders of the physical body of the case prevent it from moving sideways. Here, the only thing supporting it. is the switch. So the switch (which is supposed to take only in/out forces) now has to resist bending motions and will wear out faster.
This is nothing but an expensive hand-made -hackerz- keyboard. It's not a retail quality product. It. will. break.

oh god, it looked neat from the thumbnail, but.
I feel like uniform visual representation of keys is a bad thing, while it may look pretty i think that key distinction allows for easier dynamic use
wait, why is it windows/android or mac/ios? Shouldnt it be windows/mac or android/ios? I've never encountered keyboard incompatibility between mac and windows computers, seems like the bigger difference would be between mobile and full power operating systems, not which particular brand one happens to use

Just checked the website to see if there have been any flaws mentioned that have improved since this review and it looks like the caps button and backspace have extended to the length of the left shift, the number row has shifted to be in a more standard position, and the long buttons now have one centered switch instead of sitting on two (on newer keyboard models but not the dot. The arrow keys are still in that funky lineup but it looks like they-ve taken critiques to heart

I fail to see how this ever made it past any initial testing. I'm assuming there wasn't any. Any seasoned keyboard user/typist would have immediately noticed all the things you did and deemed them fatal flaws. This is an issue we see all over the place, especially web design. designers have way too much power of the process, often resulting in serious UX problems for the end user.

I wish some of these cheaper mechanical boards were made with a QUERTY UK Layout option. I've tried to use US layouts before with the UK layout set, though I've not been able to located the backslash key, which is kinda needed for paths in Windows. It may have been the forward slash key I was missing but either way, it was one of the slashes that come in quite handy.

I never understood the appeal of -tenkeyless- keyboards, especially for gamers and power users. Isn't having more remappable keys a GOOD thing? For example, in WoW, because of the placement of the numpad, I use those keys as like a -shifter- in order to burn different cooldowns and trinkets when needed.

I have a Razer Ornata Chroma v2 which was also $100, feels great to type on, has nice feeling and accurate switches, has a comfy cushioned wrist rest, is backlit and customizable like other Razer chroma products. point is yea, $100 can get you many stronger options.

It's nice though that it not only charges over USB, but actually can be used as a wired USB keyboard. Also when it was released USB-C had only just come out, so microUSB is understandable.
Other than that I bet LGR is spot on with the review.
