Wow, this remind me of a game I once played on cellphones back when I was a pupil! That game is called -Tomb Robber- and it plays in the same principle as -The Ball Game-, with some differents: That game has a prologue, in which you are a tomb robber, trying to dig in an ancient tomb for treasure inside, but find yourself being trapped by zombies and mummy and you need to fight a way out. And the balls on the board has been replaced by them. And you can pick up and use objects randomly show on the board, to destroy all the zombies (balls) in the area, protect certain area, or summon more zombies (balls) to the board.

Man, I adored Spot back in the day. Kinda wish I never traded in my old NES games to get Chrono Trigger back in the day and just saved my money for it. Even back then Gamestop (Funcoland) was a giant ripoff. Traded in like 100 NES games and only got to get 1 SNES game with the credit.

Wow. It's like a slower, isometric version of Spot: The Video Game for NES.
I think I'll stick with Spot.
EDIT: And this is what I get for commenting before watching the end of the video. You literally bring up Spot, though I didn't know it was on PC.

-PRESS F9 TO START PLAYING-. I've only ever used f9 to quit out of a bios without saving, or kill a GNU/Linux process. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I associate F9 with anything but starting things, and would be hesitant to press that key.

Hey, could you do a video on the Printmaster series? I remember using one in like the early 2000s that had like a cool face/creature making thing, and idk, seems like it would be up your alley.

Nice graphics, but I guess Hexxagon (specially Hexxagon II) has better IA and the movements are quicker. Both versions lack music, but at least the sound effects are not restricted to PC Speaker.

Darn, I was hoping it would be something interesting like Marble Madness (which drove me crazy and I couldn't get past the second level. But OMG! That 7-up Spot game brought back memories. :D

So, it was like promoting Battle Chess as if it were an action game, maybe without the word chess in it. I have to say it was quite a bad decision. Or maybe rather good as a troll.
