15: 10 'Learn everything you need to know about: How to get booked to speak at colleges'
Huh. You know, of all the dubious 'career-building seminars/courses' that I've ever seen advertised, that one - takes the prize for 'most likely to have actual useful experience applicable to the field being spoken about'. It's not quite 'how to: write and sell how-to guides', but it's getting there.
(Or maybe 'Self-actualising your inner self-actualisation self-help-book author')

Actually, shockingly enough? Presto seems to be still around, shockingly.
I guess it makes sense, I dont think it'd be that hard to run. But as time goes on I think their service just gets less useful, because even most elderly have computers now, and even then, not many people use email for communication.
A very wholesome idea but it's clearly stuck in the 90s/ early 2000s
I like it. Just sucks that it's stuck in the past now

I usually shop at the local family owned thrift stores or charity thrift stores since our goodwills in Houston are total crap. I mean my local goodwill has a rat problem. My cousin worked there and said there was, I confirmed that because I was browsing and guess what I saw on some wood furniture and inside the dressing rooms? You guessed it. Rat droppings. How lovely.

15: 10 passing on Nigel Mansell's World Championship makes the creepy floating head of Nigel Mansell angry. Seriously, that's the tutorial mode, the floating mustachioed head of Nigel Mansell critiquing your D-pad-and-digital-buttons driving technique with terse voice samples like -Good. -

I watched House on the haunted hill as a young kid. My parents were like, oh it's just a black and white film what harm could it be? - It scared the hell out of me when the skeleton came out of the acid vat to attack the lady. I was scared of the dark but who could blame me?

I'm binging a few of these at 2x speed and even before the Marie Kondo effect was brought up I was already thinking -the next time I spring clean I should just donate a bunch of stuff, - which I've never done before. The LGR Thrifts effect.

I remember those console tvs. I'm only 23 and as a kid I played SNES, N64, And Xbox on an old Console tv. It was a Proscan or RCA. Looked different than the one you had tho. Darker wood finish and I think it was Mono.

I own that 'roomba' and it's one of the cheap knockoffs. It doesn't do the room mapping, but it does have a base station it can 'find' -- run into accidentally -- and can tell when it runs into shit.

We don't have anything like this in the UK, we have plenty of charity shops but they're usually small, and almost always focussed on ladies clothing, and the odd shelf of cds/dvds/books.
