I don't listen to reviews anymore, it's Other peoples opinions not mine. I will make my own option about a movies I don't need someone else to tell me something is bad just because they didn't find it exciting. I often wonder why we need others to tell us what they think of something instead of just finding out what we think of it ourselves.

My grandson wanted to see so I took him. Yeah, not great but he liked it. My first takeaway: almost nothing on the one thing that was most important. guns. Other than a one off mention to the infinity pistol, you wouldn't know things like guns, shields, grenades, etc are a thing. And, of course, the casting sucked.

Directors forgot the most fundamental part of making a movie. The story comes first. Even if you have the rights to a franchise, if the characters aren't interesting, the plot filled with actual story beats, and it all culminates to borderline enjoyable conclusion that feels earned, then maybe it isn't worth making.

The only problem I see is casting Kevin Hart as Roland. They didn't have to slip the meal ticket comedian in for comedic relief. The movie looks accurate to the game visually, a good script would've made it come together nicely. Borderlands already has millions of fans it wouldn't have flopped regardless.

Cause most likely the critics have not played the games.

Never played the games. So yea, i know this was gonna suck. Why turn Fallout into a series on tv and not Borderlands aswell Made no sence to me. Fallout the series without ever playing the games i did enjoy the series more.

Production was so problematic that writer Craig Mazin (from CHERNOBYL and THE LAST OF US) asked for his name to be removed from the credits

I think the biggest problem with this film is that there is no handsome Jack. It's OK not to have him but this movie then should have been a prequel of how they all met. As a younger cast.
