The Ending Of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Explained Thomas: what no explanation of all 5 end credits scenes? Ill explain them.
-1st one. was just a joke
-2nd one: Sylvester Stalone didn't just play a random Ravenger. Nor were the people he was talking to such. Collectively they were Starhawk (Stalone, Charlie-27 (the big black guy, Aleta Ogord (the girl, Martinex (the diamond like person, Mainframe (the robot) and Krugarr (the alien like one. In the comics they (along with Yondu) are from the 31st century. They are technically, despite being in the future, the first Guardians of the Galaxy.
3rd: The Adam the high priestess made is Adam Warlock. People assumed we saw his cocoon in Thor: Dark World and the first guardians but I guess it someone else's
4th: was just showing Groot growing back in size
5th: Just more stan lee talking to the watcher. Immortal beings that assign one to watch over the evens of the planet. Uatu (earth's) prosides on the moon. #1 rule. they must observe. not interfere. Stan Lee is not a watcher (based on his size) but seems to have the same job.

Here's a fun mental exercise. Time travel back to the 70's and offer to tell Stan Lee what his top most profitable merchandisable characters are.
1. Spider-Man OK Makes perfect sense! I knew we had a winner there!
2. Iron Man - Yep! One of my personal favorites. Just perfect for them kids!
3. Groot - Excuse me, I think I misheard you? Did you say Groot? like the world conquering alien tree monster Groot from our old 60's Monster books? I think you misread something somewhere. Oh rigghhtt. Baby Groot. have you been smoking this Groot?
4. Rocket Raccoon - OK now you're just F'ing with me!
5. Captain America/Thor/Hulk/Black Widow etc - And all these are BELOW the talking Raccoon and Groot? We're talking Groot the Lunchbox here? Sells better than Captain America? Can I have some of that Groot to smoke? at this point Stan starts pondering if maybe he should have taken that Cigarette Advertising job after all.

Spoilers ahead.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 actually happened in 2014 in the actual Marvel Cinematic Timeline. In the flashback that shows a younger Ego, it was in 1980. We then go 34 years later which makes it 2014 so The Avengers may have been busy during what I believe is Winter Soldier. So that means Shield is in disarray due to Hydra, The Avengers are spread out doing other things and Captain America is fighting The Winter Soldier Also, the blue blob from the plant Ego planted was stopped before a response could be mobilized. And I think the reason that The Guardians are catching up to the present is mostly to do with Groot. As cool as he was as Baby Groot, he'll need to be fully grown for Infinity War and if the post credit scenes are to be indicated, all the Guardians will be able to understand Groot who is now a moody teenager.

The only problem about Peter still having his powers is that after ego dies, he seems like the light putters out. But, also, as Ego implies, it took ego years to realize the extent of his own powers. What if, in fact, Peter could tap into Ego's light, but just as he has his own brain, he has his own baby light inside of him, much like baby groot revived from adult groot. Maybe they won't be as spectacular as ego's, but he's a Demi-god. He's got the potential.

The, the geeks way back on the comic book store? real loud an clear moron! i am a Math Teacher, 48 old. I have two children whom say things more mature than that. Nobody gives you the right to diminish those whom are very fond on the art (yes impudent so so critic, even in Japan, its cosidered an ART) of comic histories. I will present to you one of Austin Powers friends named Foo kyu. Enyoy it. Be well. Live long and prosper (far far away.

You think the Avengers were going to assemble and get to Missouri in the 20-30 minutes that the problem was occurring considering they had no prior knowledge of it? They're good but seriously? And considering they are currently bound by the Sokovia Accords they would have to be authorized by the U. N. before they could even go. The problem was rectified long before the Avengers or any other heroes would even be on the scene.

Anyone else feel like this video should be titled, Ending of Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 explained, and a whole bunch of conjecture, hypotheticals, assumptions, and flat out guesses at possible future storylines? Not that it was bad, per se, but I was not expecting to be flooded with so many, what if this is where the next story goes? and then having the ways of the comic book story lines laid out for me.

People are going hate me when I say this, but I think Howard the Duck should get an MCU film. I'm not saying I like the Howard the Duck movie from the 80s, that film is terrible. But think about it Howard the Duck would be an awesome movie, you can do this origin story that takes place in his own world. This film would probably be like John Wick with a duck with funny one liners.

The second Guardians film doesn't take place in real time, but 6 months after the first one. So it's early 2015. Spider-Man wasn't a superhero yet at the time. Hell, neither was Ant-Man. This would have been a post-New York, pre-Ultron Avengers mission. And we only got a few quick shots of it happening on Earth, so without enough response time for most of the Avengers.

Why does it even matter that other superheroes has to know and come save the day in other superhero films. Why cant we just see each film as an independent separate film story. It never happens in comics so why do we need it in films. You are restricting yourself in making a good story if you keep linking every thing to other films and superheroes in the universe.
