I feel like one of Dane Cooks biggest problems (other than allegedly stealing jokes) he never evolved his stand up routine he would tell the same jokes over and over he needed new material. How can he make a comeback? I maybe get a Netflix special but he'd need to change a few things and perhaps roll with the whole being middle aged thing.

Overall, his movies are pretty funny! His stand up i would say is a B- at best. He was one of those comedians that his set would improve over the years. I saw something of his from 99 and it wasnt that great, but his last special was significantly better. I wouldnt call him a legend, but Ill give him the respect.

He's not that bad, he just tries a little too hard and lies a lot. He said in an interview he's never had a sip of alcohol or tried any drug in his lifetime. When I saw him in 2006 at the glasshouse he was drinking before the show and I know for damn sure he does a Hell of a lot of cocaine or methamphetamine

Actually Dane came out saying he stopped acting because he was being role casted as the same character all the time. He wanted to act, not just be the sleazy guy people kept painting him to be. He has done other roles with Bruce Willis and a drama based on a true story as well in the past few years.

People have such petty quibbles with him lol. As if no comedians have unintentionally used one another's jokes. People make controversial jokes too. I mean let it go. Some people find him funny, and some don't. I get it, but I don't get the backlash. People act like he personally wounded them lol.

Honestly I feel like it's more Dane Cooks bad luck in casting than anything else. He wasn't solely responsible for his films being bad, the direction could have been a lot better. I actually thought Good Luck Chuck was pretty funny.

Let's not forget Danes brother was stealing millions of dollars behind his back and now he has no money and owes irs alot of money. Danes a good guy sometimes he tries to hard to be funny but he has a funny personality I think.

I'll always love Dane Cook. The hate on Cook here is totally over the top. I still remember as a youngster being in hysterics watching his standup.
