John Cusack is a great actor, but there's many other great actors out there who've also not been cast lately. Hollywood has soooo many talented actors on the up that means roles are getting tougher to get cast for. The acting industry is going a bit like the music industry - Hollywood casts them, uses them, then discards them when they outlive their usefulness. Then the next bunch of talent comes to the fore and so on and so on. Or, they just get older, uglier, then Die! Sometimes your fate lies In the Lap of the Gods!

He was criticising Hollywood waayyy before. I remember him bringing up the ageism women experience in Hollywood such a long time ago. Only now are some celebrities speaking up against it but its like easier to jump on that bandwagon, with the whole Weinstein thing etc. He had guts to stand up to that stuff, while most actors couldn't care less.

I Really like that John Cusack has made it clear that he knows whats going on and won't just go along with it, but I really like the movies he has been producing and/or directing, NAMELY the terrifying movies he has starred in 1408 and Stephen King's Cell. Both of these movies are 2 of my recent choices to my movie library. GO JOHN CUSACK.

I've loved John Cusak since I was a teenager. He's doing roles he cares about on the big screen and I respect him for it. It's the same thing Johnny Depp used to do, until he sold out and then started grabbing every weird role he could find. Also, Cusak is fighting for the rights of fair journalism. good for him! I respect that too.

He played a serial killer. It just seems like people who take a role in serial killer movies they don't get casted anymore. It kills your career. Cusack is a great actor. The problem is these Hollywood elitist hypocrites. Think that they know everything. When in reality they know nothing about everything especially politics. You cannot live in reality. When you believe reality is having multiple million dollar mansions throughout the world.

I remember Cusack saying in the 90s, something like every Con Air he does lets him do a Grosse Pointe Blank, making it very clear that he didn't view all film projects equally and he was totally fine making movies for a paycheck if it allows him to do the projects he really wants.

Hes made crappy choices for movies lately thats for sure. And if you criticize Hollyweird, it will come back to bite you in the ass. Personally I could care less. But I used to like Cusack till I heard his assinine remarks about Trump. I hope he ends up talking orders at McDonalds

Very one dimensional actor with narrow range of abilities. hes not getting job as much as he used to because the character actor role has all but gone from Hollywood - who would rather cast a model/limited actor than a normal looking/limited actor.
