Wow. Why are people so down on SMB2? For the time it was a great ending and opened up the idea of the setting being much more then jus the mushroom kingdom. I guess if you played it today it would'nt seem to impressive but coming from the ending of say the original SMB or Legend of Zelda or even Metroid the big animated snoozing mario waking up from a dream adventure was really impressive.

When Johnny died it was a crushing blow that motivated the entire plot. It made fans of the series more invested in taking down the villain. It also made me so happy when IV came out and you got Gat back. Actually, the dialogue from romancing Gat was some of the most understandable and sweet things I've experienced in a video game and it wouldn't be possible without his death in 3.

Somebody's overcritical. Nothing wrong with a fun dance number at the end of a game. I thought it was clever and fit Bayonetta well. I didn't think it was for fanservice, plus Let's Dance Boys is the best theme in the whole game.
And Groose is pretty awesome too, I feel he has the most character development out of the whole game.

Bayonetta dancing was amazing. And Groose was amazing. I'm thinking a lot of commenters would agree. And, if you pre-order Agents of Mayhem, Gats is back, apparently. Haha.
Edit: And honestly, I don't think the Star Ocean one was that creepy. It's creepy when you think about it in the wrong context.

Dancing is the most significant part of Bayonetta's concept. Even her combat style is supposed to resemble a dance. That's even mentioned in the main theme. All her major attacks all involve literal dancing as well. A dancing scene in this game is about as out of place as a coffee in a mug.

Are you kidding? Bayonetta's dance was an amazing way to end the game considering what her character is like.
The story shouldn't be taken too seriously in the first place anyways. Who even plays Bayonetta for the fanservice. I just like kicking ass in action games.

Yall are acting like Maria and Shadow's relationship wasn't a thing. Now that has nothing to do with Sonic 06 being a horrible game, as it was, but saying that human on hedgehog love was weird in Sonic 06 means that you've miss one of the best sonic games in recent years.

Oh, Sonic 2006 was almost ruined by the creepy furry fanfic? Not the fact that it was an entirely shit game? Don't think I need to watch the video further than that, so I guess it was ruined by just one bad cutscene afterall.
