This Is What Happened To Data From Star Trek Dustin: Well unfortunately for Brett Spiner he'll always be remembered as Lt Commander Data from Star Trek TNG the role that made him famous and role that will haunt him for the rest of his life. And there are some actors and actresses that play characters that makes them famous but after they get done doing the character it makes it difficult for them to get other roles like Jaleel White for an example his Steve Urkel character made him famous but the character made his life a living hell after Family Matters stopped airing has made it extremely difficult for him to get roles in TV and in film.

What really happened to Data was he realized observing human emotions, social interactions, and behavior in just the few people he knew was getting him nowhere in his quest to become more human so he traveled back in time and founded Facebook where billions of humans upload their emotions, social interactions, and behavior in a convenient platform for him to download. He also changed his name to seem more human.

Brent Spiner is surely magnificent actor in our time.
There must be another android on Star Trek. Data's son, Data Rascal, and his British equivelant, Bertie Pimplebum, maybe. Real or fiction, travelling the stars is impossible without problem solving technology. Self aware technology is, in fact, frightening beyond belief. (UK)

Dude on TNG Brent Spiner should have won many Emmy's. His acting range and capabilities on the series is amazing. Very underrated actor. Sad to see Cop Drama shows taking Emmy's year after year. Just because of the Hollywood scene at that time and tbh imo not much has changed unfortunately still in 2017.

Booo! The title is misleading!
I wanted to know what happened to the character Data, not the actor Brent Spiner!
Yes that was interesting & a good, informative, high quality video too, but that's NOT what i wanted to watch!
Wish the title was more specific.
Keep up the AWESOME work!

Data was a machine, he simply wore out like an old steam locomotive. I suspect he is a display in some museum somewhere because the fella who built him died, and nobody else knew how to build his spare parts. Hey it's not; like the machine had a soul, and actual life the way we humans do.

Brent Spiner in a film is always a treat. After Data it was difficult to think of him in any other role, but it only took a minute or two with Threshold to forget Data and enjoy. by the way, Threshold is a great series and another example of how whacked out the Execs are at the TV networks.

I don't like him because he talked shit about his fans. I know it's somehow become acceptable for production to say the most horrible stuff about fans today but I feel the same now as I did then. You're famous because of your fanbase so talking shit means I am no longer your fan.

Brent did alot of excellent acting in the Trek series, although he was good in other movies I think Star Trek was the best. He had to always act like a Android most of the time and that probably wasn't easy, Data was my favorite character in the series. I am a Treker.

The reason he gets nothing but poor movie roles is because he's a piss poor actor, no one cares about him. And he's stuck on himself. He's a DRAMA QUEEN. NO ONE WITH GOOD PRODUCERS WANTS HIS SORRY ASS IN THEIR MOVIES. HE SUCKED IN STAR TREK NEXT GENERATION ALSO.
