I played Outlast by myself and I kept getting scared because I hate getting chased and everytime I continue playing, I can feel this strong tension in the game telling me that a scary pop up is going to happen! I hate it and love it the same time!

still outlast number one in intense of horror and servival all the way long. I wish they make outlast 3. but with more creatures and jumpscares, but to be suitable to all computers'graphic cards and componences.

Playing a horror game in the dark and alone makes it more inmersive. That's the way I used to play Silent Hill games, I could concentrate better with the puzzles and my characters surroundings.

I've played The Evil Within, Outlast, and Resident Evil 4 alone at night. I'm obsessed with horror and you seriously can try anything and I will most likely not get scared XD

We have Resident Evil 4 and my dad only plays it and we just watch. Man we were so far at it that time but the memory card has no space anymore so it's yeah. like a waste of effort

Outlast is best played alone, I expected it be scarier then it actually was. Not to say it wasnt good, I played it with full immersion and I liked it.
