The Ending Of Annabelle: Creation Explained fanjoy: For the record, I liked the movie. Watched it yesterday for halloween. However, I can only say I like it as a person who knows many of the horror movies these days are niche, been done before, been redone, etc. Originality is a blue moon and the some of the ones that do come out with something original, typically fumble on the cast, the writing or the execution of the story. Obviously this isn't the first possessed doll movie and it probably won't be the last. This movie was creepy as hell though, which is what I liked. What I didn't like was that the movie basically had to live off of jump scares. If I simply muted a scene I could tell a jumpscare was coming on, it barely made a blip on the scary meter. A good horror movie shouldn't depend on how loud your speakers are. If I wanted a sound jolt, I could just tell my house mate to drop the remote control on the floor behind me when I'm not paying attention.

The way they connect one movie to another makes the world really small. Let me see if I understood. The doll is possessed by a demon who then jumps into a girl who later is adopted and later murders them and jumps again into the same doll that happens to be owned by the next door neighbors?

maybe the Nun had been following sister Charlotte all along, since Mr Mullins had pointed out that there was something in the picture and the orphans were pretty much afraid of some random stuff (scarecrow)

I have my doubts whether anything that happened in this movie was real or not, since the real Annabelle is a Raggedy Ann doll. I think that they're just trying to capitalize on its popularity.

I just finished watching Annabelle creation, and when I saw Annabelle grown up, I immediately recognized her from the first movie. Then I saw Mia and totally freaked out! Yay!

So I am to believe that the demon lived inside of Janis until she was an adult & one day it was like hey. let me make some trouble now. haven't done that in a while. ?

You forgot how it ties to the beginning of The Conjuring with the scene in the antique shop. Where the woman buys the doll for her daughter who is a nurse.

The Demon said it was Annabelle while it was being set up for adoption, but in the end the adopting parents called her Janis. How do you answer that?

I like how the ending of the movie ties in neatly with the beginning of the first movie which I thought was great, contrary to popular opinion.

The evil nun was clearly shown when Mullins asked sister Sister Charlotte about the picture she had with other sisters, really sneaky and smart
