South Park was a series created in 1997 by co-creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, but did you know that prior to the show's 20-year successful run on Comedy Central the duo met in film school creating independent films, such as Cannibal the Musical, a film formerly known as Alfred Packer the Musical that showcased his trek across the Yukon? The movie was funded only by Matt and Trey themselves, plus private investors, like dental practitioners, or whoever they could ask. The movie was later distributed independently by Troma, a co-creation of Michael Hertz and Lloyd Kaufman. The duo later created animated shorts, the most successful of which was, The Spirit of Christmas, a short done in the classic South Park cut out style, and distributed on archaic means, such as VHS cassettes throughout all of Hollywood landing in the laps of luminaries, such as George Clooney. Even executives at Universal Studios, who later hired Matt Stone and Trey Parker to create their holiday video for internal use. Working with Hollywood landed Matt and Trey at the front door of Comedy Central, who wanted to pick up South Park, their animated series, as a full run show. Not only did it start in 97, it is ran for 21 seasons successfully every year, coming back on a six-day turnaround per episode.

more king of the hill sweet, i just hope they have talented good writers, this isnt a dig against anyone, just that i hope they truly have no filter and tackle wierd and awkward subjects, it was a cartoon that tackled the adult awkward world and the wierd situations society creates for private citizens because of hte actions of other private citizens. it could be rude, vulgar or inconsiderate, but it always valued politeness, consideration of others feelings, and trying to do the best that you could for yourself, and your neighbors and family, in the proper order of course

I live in Texas and Richardson is actually creepely similar to Arlend and is roughly an hour away to everyones job. Hank would work in Murphy which is a smaller town and would have a Propane store, Nancy would work in Dallas where most of the news stations are, Bill would work in Fort Worth at Carswell and Peggy well in the DISD school District.

I love the fact that Dale bears striking familiarity to William S. Burroughs and always thought it was too cool that Tom Petty voiced Lucky for the show - may he rest in peace. I finally saw the first season or two of KOTH not long ago, it was much weirder than the other seasons and closer to what I often wonder was Judge's original idea?

Actually it wasnt revealed boomhauer was a ranger in finale, the last episode was the one where Kahn and hank build super grill but Kahns manic depression gets in the way. Most people thing to sirloin with love was the last episode because of its poignancy and ending scenes of hank and Bobby finally having something in common

that's funny Boomhauer was a Texas ranger. back int 2010 I was with my family in florida and we got lost. We saw a cop car at the side of the road and we stopped to ask for directions. He talked just like him! Like dead ringer. We could hardly understand his voice. It was something i'll never forget!

Instead of reviving King of the Hill they could just do Monsignor Martinez except they could focus on the actor that plays the character and how he was typecast by the show that people love but he doesn't. That or some variant of it could be interesting.

I would definitely support the return of King of the Hill. I think it would be rather amusing to see the opinions of those characters in a trump era. Perhaps maybe starting the series at the beginning of the Trump era, sort of a retroactive deal.

Beavis and butthead, I never seen an episode. I hated the animation and the concept but it was probably a great show. Ima give it a chance one day. I also never got into sponge bob. Should I? Is it not for pansies?
