The Most Emotional Movies Of All Time fanjoy: Old Yeller, Turner and Hooch, Marley and Me, that scene at the end when he is putting him down and he tells him its okay to go. Man Ive got tears writing it. any movie with a dog dying is instant water works. E. T when he is dying and Elliot is screaming. Saving Private Ryan. That scene at the end of Forest Gump when hes talking to Jenny at her grave about their son and he starts crying. Hell you could do a list of Tom Hanks movies that make you cry.

Looper forgets The Wind Rises, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Babe: Pig in the City, Central Station, Hana-bi and The Thin Red Line.
I hated almost all of the movies referenced by Looper, except Toy Story 3.
The Wind Rises is the most subtly emotional movie I ever saw, despite its glacial pacing. Spirited Away is also stronger.

Terminator 2, when he tells John he has to go. John is ordering him not to go, that he can't go. Terminator while looking down at his fate tells him I know why you cry and that is something i can not do (I might be paraphrasing here) and the moment ends with him sinking giving John a thumbs up.

I agree with a lot of the movies on this list (especially that scene from Interstellar, but one of the only movies to make me cry is 'Red Dog', specifically the last 30 minutes of it. I highly recommend it, especially to those who aren't Australian (like me) and haven't heard of it.

guardians of the galaxy? it was beginning of the movie and we hardly know the character. so the death of his mum really doesn't connect at all. if you really want to put guardians of the galaxy. the ending death of yoondu in GotG 2 was more emotional.

The first time I remember crying during a movie was when Ghost first came out to rent on VHS, and the part where Patrick Swayze says goodbye to Molly before going to heaven had me running to my room crying in my pillow. I was just a kid then.

Beaches, when her lifelong friend passes. Schindler's List, when the survivors place the rocks on the grave. Philadelphia when they play Neil Young's 'Philadelphia' while watching a young Tom Hanks' character on the TV. Bawling every time.

What? GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY? Seriously? What about Dancer In The Dark? That's a real hard one! And watching Schindler's List is also a real emotional challenge imo. And i think we should add here Ladri Di Biciclette and La Strada.

The guardians of the galaxy scene actually made me angry when the kid didn't take his mothers hand and then it made me grin when the mother died and the kid was pulled out. karma hurts worse when you deserve it kid.

How the hell is GotG on this list? C'mon and am I the only one who thinks that the soundtrack this video makes use of is similar to the one used in Dracula Untold's climax scene?
