Actors That Weren't The First Choice For These Famous Roles savannah: In my opinion Panic Room is one of the most underrated movies ever made it such a beautiful movie that no one talks about for some reason it just disappointed and I love Jodie Foster in that movie and Kristen Stewart she did well for a kid at the time and I would be disappointed if anybody else was in those rolls some kind of glad that they got the roles in end

You missed out Jack Haley as the Tin Man in 1939 'The Wizard of Oz' - the original choice was Buddy Ebsen but because of an incident with the Tin Man make-up he had to drop out and be replaced by Jack. Maybe I'm biased but I personally think Jack was better for the role - samples of Buddy singing 'If I only had a heart' are awful compared to Jack's singing.

As much as I loved Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka people do often forget that he made a lot of many other movies(like the ones he made w/Mel Brooks) that he was terrific in as well. So when he passed away last year, it kinda annoyed me that many people only remembered him for that role.

How about doing the same for TV?
The first choice for Star Trek Voyager's captain Janeway was Canadian actress Genevieve Bujold. She was fired after a few days of shooting. She couldn't keep up with the fast pace in shooting and had problems with technobabble.

I feel like Teller would've been a better fit in La La Land than Gosling. Definitely glad Watson wasn't chosen though. She's a lovely person but I really don't think she's as talented of an actress as everyone is making her out to be.

Some interesting choices that were considered (and initially preferred) but didn't happen in some old movies. Grace Kelly for Giant. Robert Redford and Tuesday Weld for Rosemary's Baby. Tuesday Weld again for Bonnie & Clyde.

how can you allow an add that clearly shows those tigers and lions are affraid of those sticks which clearly shows those animals have been abused and hit by those sticks to play in your videos? this is truely disgusting!

actually vin diesel did apear in all films, he just wasnt the staring role in tokyo drift. he had a small cameo at the end of the film, where he is about to race sean, played by lucas black.

Actually, she wanted the whole shoot to move to London and work around her so the director just said enough was enough. I highly doubt Emma Watson would have won best actress anyway

Interesting fact about Pulp Fiction Uma Thurman was not the first choice to play the character and that movie it took a lot of begging for her to actually get the role
