The Real Reason These Popular '80s Cartoons Were Canceled MrNightshade2010: dic is known as the cheapest and the worst animation studio in the world. why didn't Garfield just drop the u. s. acres spot?
actually Mario ran longer they replaced Mario and Luigi with teens who did comedy skits and just reran the cartoons one of the kids was in an old laser tag rip off show called photon and hed speed through an episode telling them about his home i think they could remake thundarr and put it on adult swim that way they could do the adult parts right. but what killed Saturday cartoons on cbs and nbc was college sports and saved by the bell.

Dungeons and dragons was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid and sadly when it was cancelled started the push to live action tv shows like saved by the bell and all its copycats like hang time and such which eventually killed off Saturday morning cartoons

When I was a kid, I remember each network would have a show previewing their new fall Saturday morning lineup. Then you'd watch the new shows and talk about them with your friends at school on Monday. Those were exciting times.

After growing up in the 70s and watching Bugs Bunny Elmer Fudd Yosemite Sam Sylvester and Tweety everything that came after just sucked! When they done away with the Looney Tunes they should have just quit making cartoons.

Just to clarify, RoboCop was rated PG-13. In fact it was one of the first movies that was made under the new PG-13 moniker, the violence was used in effort to show what you could display in a PG-13 movie.

Centurion, Visionaries, Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers, The Mask. these are some of my other favourite cartoons. Other than x-men, spider-man, transformers, he-man, g. i joe, ghostbusters, etc etc

D&D, Thundar the Barbarian, and Voltron were awesome! I couldn't wait to watch them every Saturday morning. I also loved Thundercats, Gargoyles, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, and Tranzor Z.

Rambo the most violent property to be turned into a children's cartoon? You have obviously have never seen the Toxic Avenger unrated ultraviolent film series or the cartoon series.
