Why did they change Stans and Patricks scenes? Neither the original or the new one had the same scare factor as the book did with those characters. The Standpipe part in the book with Stan was nail-biting fear. Easily one of the more intense parts of the book. And Patricks death via flying leech type bugs from the fridge that he stored his tortured animals in was absolutely brutal. WHY ANDY, WHY. We the sewer scene with Patrick was good but no where near the OG scene, and his character was totally wrong. Patrick was a total psychotic weirdo in the book. And dont even get me started on the copouts for Stan. Instead of that intense scene in the Standpipe we get some generic Mama looking thing. As Tommy Wiseau would say, cheap cheap cheap.

Bill Hader is rumoured to be Richie
Jessica Chastian is CONFIRMED for Beverly
These were my picks for those 3 and the others
Tobey Maguire as Bill But now I think James McAvoy is a much better choice and Im glad they could cast him
Bill Hader for Richie so my prediction along with many others was correct
Amy Adams for Bev but I think Chastian will do just fine

Wooooow so not only do I have to wait almost a whole damn year for Stranger Things season 3 to come out, NOW you tell me IT chapter 2 is coming out in September 2019! Thats an even LONGER wait from Stranger Things because season 3 comes out of spring 2019 but then I have to wait 5 months for It chap 2 to come out. But then agian I understand these kids have other movies and shows that there going to be on. but thats just to long! UGHHH HOW AM I GOING TO SuRvIvE

IT could really use a narrator like Morgan Freeman. it would make it a lot easier to understand the characters motives. like Henry bowers who gets way less screen time than he should. hes vital in part two. there could be a voice over that says something like of all the losers there was one henry hated the most - a black boy named mike hanlon. it could also narrate his family history with Mikes and go into that kind of stuff

I'm not sure about all those decisions but the first one was pretty great story wise so hopefully they hit the nail on the head the second go around. It be a shame if they had a great first film and a mediocre second one. I mean- sequels aren't usually great but this one has an actual story to continue written for them so it has a good foundation. Time will tell i guess.

uhhh this is a idea i guess pennywise mum is mean to pennywise So He Got A Knife and killed his mum then pennywise became a clown so maybe the mum came back and pennywise told the loser club to help?
Edit: Also Riche is funny Flamingo/Albert should be Riche if you dont know who flamingo/albert you have to go check if you are albert/flamingo fan YO TENGO!

Well maybe Jessica Chastain was actually casted as grown up Bev because Sophia is the only one who made a realistic and suitable pick about her character!
Anyway I really hope Muschietti will be able to render the supernatural, cosmic nature of It better than the awful way it was rendered in the miniseries. And I need to see the Turtle too.

Maybe they'll put a little bit of twist here in the saga, maybe for chapter 2, the production will skip whats written in the book in IT Chapter 2, maybe they'll rewrite the story and by chapter 3 they'll mix up the chapter 2 book version characters and IT Chapter 2 movie characters version together and see how their story goes

I love love love the thought of Joseph Gordon-Levitt! He is an amazing actor. A Jake Gyllenhaal from Donnie Darco would be awesome as well. Christian Bale is an amazing actor, but I feel the Dark Knight/Patrick Bateman would not be afraid of Pennywise. That is hard to imagine and would seem a little weird on screen.
