Critically Despised Movies That Are Actually Great
video description
The first two are about the only good ones. The rest shouldn't be watched.
Also people don't like Kristen Stewart I think mostly because of her bland, emotionless, boring, dumb, selfish and petty character in twilight.
But I have no room to judge as I've seen those movie but they are effing awful and it'd be a waste of time.

Alright I loved this list until you got to Clash of the Titans. The movie was awful for the following reasons:
Every monster was ripped of from God of War not mythology.
None of the people in the fun were like able in any real way.
The Kraken was an uninspiring copy with a minor tweaks of Cloverfield.
Making fun of elements from the original was in bad taste and shows poor writing.
The theme seemed less about man verses gods but more a commentary of rich people vs political power with an emphasis on the poor being the ones who take much of the damage.

Only one of these is a GREAT movie. Last boy scout. That is an underrated classic. At the peak of Bruce Willis' action heyday, it has a fairly original plot, amazing one-liners (and pokes fun at one-liners in the process, and truly great action scenes.
Alien 3? It's alright. Definitely under-rated, but not by a whole lot.
Hook? Absolutely loved by audiences on release. At least here in the UK anyway. I don't know anyone who didn't like it. Sure, it's a bit dated now, but it still mostly stands up as a good movie. Just not a great movie.
The rest? Trash.

I loved Alien 3. Aliens was an action/war movie, and the third instalment was without weapons in a prison. A great premise, it also had a British film flavour, which was the other side of the coin of the original, which had some excellent British actors in key roles. The CGI xenomorph wasn't the greatest, but that was the times. I really liked that each of the first 3 films was stylistically independent, and the last one was almost theatrical on its relatively bare stage. We went from horror to action to epic.

Fugg me! I don't know who to hate more, producers or critics! Alien 3 was very good; Weaver, Dance and Dutton all did very well in their roles. Who cares who dies in it. Yeah, it was gloomy with a sad ending but for crying out loud. does everything have to end on a happy note? The Last Boy Scout was another well done Scott movie. who knows how good it was supposed to be with the original script. Black has done very well before. Gilliam was right, there are people on the fringes who are ruining good art!

The real villain in Snow White was the mirror! He lied, the Queen was still the most beautiful of them all. I mean, who the hell in the theatre bought that line? I ruined the plot completely the moment they said it; they should have made Charlize Theron uglier and older, with make up or CGI (wich says something I guess) hahaha: D (Blame the guys responsible for the casting of Kristin Steward. She's is underated? Maybe, ish? But not in this particular movie: she wasn't fit for the part. At all)

Critics are a pretty useless lot. Hook was one of my family's favorites, it was magical and had some spiritual truths, it takes your happy thoughts to fly/ascend. We watched it many many times, and one of my son's first word was hook when he was a toddler who spoke late and needed speech therapy. That shows how disconnected from the light the dark side is, they don't seem to get anything. And we know the media and those coding the matrix are pretty dark.

When Peter(Robin Williams) said:
[unearthing his cell phone] Wow.
[opens it and holds it to his ear] Brad! Hi! .you been holding this
long? .Uh huh. .Neverland. Lost Boys. Jim Hook, duel to the death,
I'll tell you about it later. Listen, I'd love to chat. but I gotta
climb a drain pipe right now. Why? Because I ran out of fairy dust, if
not I would've flown up. [hangs up] Pssh, Why?
i confess i burst into happy tears!

With the new Robocop, what I think would have worked would be to not have it be a new version but in the same universe as the original, Peter Weller would still be Alex Murphy and the new one would be a different character set 20 years after the original. I think fans of the original would have bought that scenario better than a different actor playing the same Alex Murphy and it would have done better box office.

One of these items I think as over criticized was the NEW The Lone Ranger.
Take a look at some of the older versions. They were good but this newer version of Tanto, with something wrong about that horse.
I love it. It's very rewatchable.
Alien 3 was another good one. I was saddened at the loss of Newt and Hicks but the rest off the story I thought was solid in the Alien Ripley story. Good.
