Cable/ Nathan Summers has always been an interesting character in the Marvel Universe because as the son of Cyclops he's giving the abilities to time travel, be telepathic, telekinetic and the power to use techno organic body parts to enhance his strength and durability. Not to mention he's always been connected to Deadpool as a part of The New Mutants team since 1991 and have both played roles as allies, enemies and anti-heroes from time to time. Really hoping Josh Brolin brings the true personality of Cable come to life in the Sequel this summer

I loved the series Executioner's Song. The battles between him and his clone, Strife. And Nate Grey was awesome, but so powerful he could burn out his own body. He didn't have the limitations because of the technovirus. Cable could eventually use his psionic power, but not at the level of Strife. Loved that story spin.

I am a Noob. That being said, So is Cable a Bad Guy or Good Guy? Also the Movies play Deadpool as a Good Guy but the Comics he is kind Bad. Which one am I supposed to be Rooting for? Hopefully it will be like Spiderman 2 where Doctor Ocotopus ie Cable does a 180 character turn or something.

Josh Brolin has to be the biggest actor in Marvel movies right now. He's the culmination of a decade of bad-guys AND Deadpool's best friend. And both of these roles are playing out around a month apart from each other. Congrats to him for landing these two roles!

I think Stephen Lang wouldve been awesome for the role of Cable! Josh Brolin did an excellent job for the character as well, but its arguably unfair that he has been casted for Thanos as well. Issues like this is how Hollywood is sometimes considered nepotistic.

Cable is a straight man. you sure? No straight man can be besties with Deadpool ok, no matter in what kind of straight. He has lots of secrets and plots, pretty much on the close edge to become a villain and thats probably why hes such great with Deadpool.

Cable near the top of my all time favorite characters and he should have had a movie first and he is the leader of the X-Force his future looks like the Terminators future fighting the Apocalypse which would be awesome first movie for Cable.

I hope there's a scene where Cable needs to have his body tech repaired and the guy who fixes him, is the same actor that played Data in The Goonies! And, he gets really excited when Cable pays him back in fake hundred dollar bills!
