The Hilarious Infinity War Line That Was Dave Bautista Improv
video description
What we get is truly skilled and genius actors that make a great movie, into an awesome movie.
Plus. the director & edit room have the final say and there is very very few scenes that have only the one take, so who cares. I bet there have been some improvs that simply did not work or make the edit, but as we see here. Many of the stuff absolutely did.
One other thing too, is that with so much of these movies having CGI coming out of the ears, even some shiot acting can be brushed up

You can call them improvised lines, or you can say those actors who play the part also have a major input of that characters' lines, it's really logical if you think about it, these are not typical film Trope characters, they have pretty much no mould to follow, in a way these actors are the ones know them the best, RDJ in a way is Tony Stark and he will know what Tony will say even better than writers.
And it must have been one of the reason Marvel characters feel so real, and DC characters feel like models only do poses and say one liners.

Some of the best stuff just simply comes from improv. I'd probably even argue that without at least a little improv in your movie, unless the script nails the movie perfectly enough, your movie degrades in quality. Improv brings the creativity out of the actor to become more in the character rather than just saying lines from some pieces of paper.

Jeremy Renner's improv about shooting quicksilver was brilliant. Now I know it was improv'd it makes a bit more sense. I was a little surprised that he said bastard in the line. I was thinking, this film's a 12 right, I'm surprised they approved that line. Turns out no, it wasn't in the script but it was so well done they kept it in.

I would not really call this improv. It's more. workshopped. There's a huge difference between actors working together to figure out their characters' interactions versus just filming actors just saying whatever floats in their head and hoping it turns out OK. See Ghostbusters 2016.

Honestly, I believe that Ragnorok was improvised that much. The movie had a very strange flow to it. There was a lot of weird silence throughout the film. Im guessing, with a lack of a script, filling up the movie with one-liners made it seem unnaturally empty most of the time.

Oh no no no. Drax is by far one of my favorite characters ever. But that gamora thing that drax said always sounded so out of character, tone and just out of place. It's one of the only cringe moments for me in the entire series. I REALLY didn't want to know this.

Star-Lord: Where is Gamora?
Iron Man: I'll do you one better; who's Gamora?
Drax: I'll do you one better; why is Gamora?
Dr. Strange: I'm confused; what is Gamora?
Spider-Man: I'm even more confused; when is Gamora?
Mantis: How's Gamora?
