Also I like me some complex characters, but at times some characters with simplistic aspirations like making money, getting laid and others, when use properly for comedic purposes, make these dumb characters as gud as your super-complex characters.

I personally felt like the villains in this movie were weak as characters. Well Woo and Burch were hilarious with their magic and truth serum gags, and Ava was good but I kinda wanted more character development from her.
Besides that, I loved the movie. It was hilarious and I especially enjoyed all the Cassie and Scott moments! Luis and Scott as always being hilarious, I will never get enough of watching those two characters. I might just go to see the movie again!
Also I guess this is a small thing, but can I complain about the fact that most of Hope's good fighting scenes in the Wasp suit were already shown in the trailers? I was really looking forwards to lots more badass fighting in the Wasp suit, but most of the action was scenes I had already seen in the trailers sadly.

During the part when they gave Luis the truth serum I started laughing so hard I almost passed out in the theater. I have a weird laugh when I really get tickled at something. I kind of sound like I have something stuck in my throat and Im having a seizure at the same time. I was so embarrassed, but I could not stop and I know people around me were wondering if I was having some sort of fit. I was so light headed, I really thought I was going to fall out of my seat.

I agreed with almost all that was said in this video except for the last part about the characters growth. The life changing event for Hope and Hank was bringing back Janet. The entire movie is based on getting her back. it is obvious and it is almost like you are looking too hard for a flaw. The movie was great and deserves recognition.

Ghost wasnt bad but just not great as a villain. When they do female avengers they need a really, really good villain. Only good ones I can think of are all good girls gone bad: nutty scarlet witch, quantum jacked Janet. Dark Phoenix. Evil Clea (doc strange girlfriend, empress lilandra (prof x girlfriend ) see its not easy.

I really enjoyed the film, but hated the fact that so much of the third act was in the trailers. Even the final post credit scene was in a trailer.
This isnt a fault of the film though, but the marketing team. Wouldve been nice to have more surprises.

Its also odd that they give you this impression that Antman is trapped and lost forever at the end but it was already established in the first film that he knows how to escape the quantum realm by using those size inhibitors that he tends to throw around.

My biggest grip is the unnecessary Walton Goggins subplot. Removing it would have helped cleaned up the bloated script that's already dealing with important pieces. Would have helped fleshed out character growth.
