Iconic Movie Scenes That Were Almost Impossible To Film EVILSPEAK: The Seven Year Itch, the scene where Marilyn was standing over the subway grating and got her skirt blown over her head by the passing Subway Train. A few thousand turned up to watch, who wouldn't, which caused problems filming and also the lighting made her underwear see-through, even after putting another pair over the ones she was already wearing. The footage wasn't usable so they redid it on a studio set recreation of Lemington Avenue.

Now this is why all these movies cost so much.
And I can only imagine what these brave people think when they hear whining from the critics and fans about how bad this or that movie is. When you do such things as Tom Cruise does, you deserve some respect.

Simon Crane, who performed the stunt in Cliffhanger, got paid 1 million for doing it. To be honest I'd roll the dice on doing it for that amount of money. Awesome shit though, even though the opening fall is still the best part of the film.

in my opinion. i think stunt coordination teams should get their own category for the Oscars or some equivalent awards because these things sometimes take way more effort than creating the movie itself

Excellent upload: all some film documentaries (however short ( appear to do nowadays is focus on CGI, special effects and little else - rarely do stunt people get mentioned.
Long Overdue.

There was also two other stunt. Bruce Willis stunt double from the first die hard movie. The stunt was in a Airshaft I think. And the cargo airplane fight scene in the living daylights

the ark heist in raiders of the lost ark is the one of my favorite chase scenes. Makes you believe Indiana was being infused with spirit from God to literally go God mode.
reply

That raiders of the lost ark scene is actually a memoir to the John Ford 1939 Stagecoach, where a man does the same stunt except during a horse chase in the West.

I always wondered how they did that cliffhanger stunt, it looked real even though I figured it was done with Hollywood magic somehow. incredible!
reply

You know, hollywood really risky with other ppl's lives. If you have a good story line, you do not need all the dangerous stunts#
