No one's perfect. Everyone has problems he did have severe back pain and took pills. Everyone gets addicted to something sometimes. I'm glad Joe Maddon took him in and help the team win the Super Bowl. He didn't judge him. I have 100% for Joe Maddon respect for this. To top it off, he was an all-around good lovable person. No abuse. This makes him a way better person then a lot of people I know. Rest in peace my friend.

So. he was a drunk and a drug abuser, but all is ok because we could play fuzzball! That does not make him an extraordinary person or actor in any frigging way, we run into these people on the street everyday, real ones, we just don't know it. He got lots of money but he was not smart enough to manage his money and life, and we are supposed to fee sorry for his tragic life? Disappointed of this story.

I had no idea that Matuzac was Sloth.
I saw Goonies when it came out, and I know who Matuzac was. never realized the connection.
Sloth made The Goonies click.
This video gave me a respect for him despite his failings. Just goes to show how humanity, despite the imperfections, can be net positive.

He was on an episode of mash. He was up for promotion and Charles Winchester was on the board, he didn't believe the sergeant deserved to be promoted because of his drunken disorderly behavior. ironic
