Movies That Angered Their Real Life Characters
video description
Be grateful
I can understand if the movie makers turn sully into black guy. But if the movie studio talked with the person about the incident in their life that they're making the film over and make sure their getting it right and said person still isn't satisfied with the end result of the film, then they definitely don't need a movie!
Nice repost btw!

It. Is a shame that filmmakers go so far with dramatic license. To inaccurately portray someone to create more dramatic tension is truly unfair. The Art Howe example is really sad. Its such a shame, too; I really liked Moneyball. This dampens that for me. The other films mentioned are also sad cases. Writers and directors need to do better. I see no reason why they still cant create a film that entertains, engages and educates an audience, and pays homage to those they are portraying.

Nobody watches movie credits. If they did, the usual this is a work of fiction message has this is based on a true story but also adds (to paraphrase) words that implies that characters and some events are altered.
And in the case of the Moneyball movie, I think I can guess why Philip Seymour Hoffman (dearly missed) may have relapsed.

We all know the outrageous alterations to history Hollywood makes, and has made, on a regular basis, you'd think that, in these days of rampant litigation when people are unafraid to sue the agencies that malign them, they'd be more careful how they depict living people!

It's Hollywood, they are fake. They are fake liberal Elitist, fake philanthropist, fake peers, and fake commies.
They live in the hills with their huge egos, and massive amounts of wealth, telling the peons what to think.

Wait, on the last one, he knew boys were being abused. He was shown as such. He got butthurt and sued. All those boys (men) that were abused should sue him now that he has money to take.

This either happens for a: dramatic purposes, b: the producers FULLY didnt do their homework when re-creating real life events and turning them into movies and c: most of the time, both.

This is why movies say based on true events. Most ppl with common ass sense are smart enough to deduce that movies based on true events or real ppl are mostly fabrication.

That's because these movies all depict ASSHOLES. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT THE ASSHOLES TO SAY? THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOUR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN!

Where's Patch Adams? Among the chorus of those who condemned the movie, the real-life doctor's critiques were the most devastating.
