No offense to Liam, but this would be the same if they recast a new t-800 for T2 instead of Arnold. Or recasting Anyone other than Bryan Cranston as Walter White in season 3 of Breaking Bad. The Witcher series is not James Bond. Henry was made for the role, and the only reason I've watched this far, including a very poor season 2. I will watch season 3 to see Henry's definitive final and consider the show finished.
When Netflix's numbers for season 4 reach the level of their Resident Evil adaption. maybe they'll finally snap themselves out of their idiocy of hiring people who certainly are not fans of the IP they work on.

I fear that without Henry, we will truely see how much he actually did to have the showrunners respect the source material. And I doubt Liam will say no to the showrunners or correct them when its not in line of the source material.

I am on the fence, but I hope season 3 will be better than season 2- still, I feel like they should have just brought in another witcher character instead of merely replacing the actor. No one can replace Henry, but the new actor should have been given his own unique chance to shine. What if Cavil wants his role back later? That wouldn t be fair to Liam Hemsworth.

Hemsworth as the Witcher, this photo is terrifying. Really awful. Looks like Frankenstein s monster. Hemsworth is a good looking guy, the make up experts need to do a better job. There is nothing in the books suggesting the Witcher should look like a monster, in fact he is perceived as a very attractive man.

I'm sure I wasn't alone in my skepticism of Cavil in the role of the Witcher prior to season one. I'm happy to have had those concerns soundly put to rest. Hopefully Hemsworth will provide an equally pleasant surprise despite our current collective reservations.

The writers hated the books and the videos games aka the source material. Henry Cavill was the only reason why I watched the show because he is so passionate about the role and sticking to the source material. The writing is garbage and this show is now doomed

Well. The beard in the art certainly does a lot of heavy lifting as he just doesn't have Cavill's strong jaw.
Hopefully the hair looks good too.

Actually he looks really, really bad. Face is far too round. And he s not going to have a beard in the show which will be even worse. Sorry but this show died with Season 2 Episode 2 and now there s no resurrecting it.

Despite it all let I hope Liam could do the of Geralt some justice and pr manager will have part as well of works of things. The costume art will very challenging league and make-up would be smack in the middle.
