So I think Batseba is that demon who created Annabelle because as Lorraine said in conjuring 2, the name of the demon gives you power over the demon.
Ed named Batseba in conjuring 1 and than he send her in hell as Lorraine did to Valak in conjuring part 2.

okay my question is that isn't Sister Irene from the Nun Lorraine Warren twenty years before? this video didnt mention that but thats what i gathered while watching it. I mean theyre both clairvoyant and like the actresses are sisters IRL so i figured thats why they casted Taissa Farmiga in the Nun -- to demonstrate a younger Lorraine. Also at the end of the Nun it seems like Frenchie is showing Lorraine Valak's face, whcih would scar here in the Conjuring bc she remembers everything she went through.

Since we now know that annabelle is connected to these movies, if you back to look at the ending of annabelle 2 the house that the neighbors walk out of when annabelle grew up and killed her foster parents, isnt that the same house thats in the insodious movie, and since the nun also makes an apperance in the insidious movie doesnt that mean all of the insidoius movies are connected to this storyline as well?

I really liked the film although people are not satisfied. as they think Valak is the most powerful demon in the Conjuring universe and in this movie this thing not reflect anywhere but according to me, the film was amazing to watch and I was not a single time bored watching the movie and the film really showed what it supposed to, Cleared! us about The Conjuring series.

The nun: the acting was terrible. It just went on and on and on going nowhere! The movie just wasnt Believable. The writers should learn from the exorcist and the shining. Subtle horror works. Make the audience think and wonder. It doesnt have to be in your face every 5 seconds. Leave something for the imagination. If I were to grade the nun Id give it a D.

But I then I thought it wasn't a really good choice though so at the same day I went too late to the theatre to watch venom after collecting every penny I have there was just one last chair and it was perfect i felt so lucky that day
Oh and.

Has anyone noticed how easily Valak was defeated in Conjuring 2 as oppose to Nun? In Nun, priest starts praying and Valak blows him away just by shouting at him. The Blood of Christ is the only thing that could stop him in the movie. And all it took to send him back to hell in Conjuring 2 was mentioning his name.

I really don't get why people seem to hate this movie so much, I loved Valak in The Conjuring 2, and he was here plenty of times, so I really enjoyed the movie, and I actually got scared with the music and the creepy settings. No one would get me into that monastery even without the demon being inside. :D

I watched the movie two days ago and I think that the priest was actually pretty useless in the story. Like what important thing did he do except for helping Irene with her vows? He just got scared and got his ass kicked everytime. Of course, Vatican sent him to meet with Irene but. that was pretty much it.
