Sons of Anarchy had a good ending but I didn't care for the rapid fire cut scenes between Jax and the trucker. It would have also been more powerful if Jax was killed by one of the series veterans instead of some newly introduced random character with very little significance.

The Shield has the best finale (titled Family Meeting) ever, which is fitting because its pilot is one of the best ever. The ending is brutal, tragic, and (in hindsight) utterly inevitable, as the action Vic and Shane took at the end of the pilot eventually caught up with them. There has never been and will never be a better finale than that.

YES YES YES Star Trek made me so so so so happy from beginning to END! when the series ended I was 8 & couldnt understand it well. then iT came to Netflix 6 years ago when I was 26 & fell in love all over again when I could understand It. One of the BEST SERIES OF ALL TIME!

How the hell do you not put Newhart on this list. The ending is considered one of the greatest endings of all time, even M. A. S. H. doesn't compare. MASH was good to, but Newhart pulled off the best ending ever.

nah i didnt like breaking bad's finale. too unlikely for how he died. woulda made more of an impact if jesse kills him or walt kills himself. sons of anarchy I also felt it was too drastic of a decision

One of my favorite final episodes was Supernatural, end of season 5. It was pretty damn sweet. Season 6 and beyond weren't even supposed to happen, so I'll casually ignore those.

I don't know how you couldn't have included Person of Interest. I thought it had the best finale of ANY show of recent memory. All yours were great, but this should have made the list, too.
