Avengers 4 To Start 5 Years After Infinity War?

Going back in time wouldn't be a possibility IMO. Since Thanos took control of the time stone, there's three things in mind I would assume he'd wield it for. One is to close time portals to make time travel possible so his mission wasn't undone. Two would be to revive his army, since his actions would alert other forces of the universe to reverse what he has done or just to defend himself. Three, of course the obvious, get his daughter back which will not be possible that leaves the Avenger one chance to win. When this new movie begins, I'm not so certain if it will begin with sad faces of every remaining Avenger, but maybe only from the battle timeline in Titan where Dr. Steven Strange was using the time stone to communicate on points of origin in time where powerful forces that are dependable to side with their forces to be warned of the present battle they were in.

I would hate if it in the cinematic universe they do this cuz it's going to be in my opinion why would you even do anything 5 years after it happened. If you have a certain mindset just like in a relationship are you still going to hold a grudge after someone you broke up with five years after, that's a bad example but why would you try to do anything 5 years after more or less is what I'm saying I could see if they was to do several weeks or several months I can even ballpark if they did something within a year but if 5 years in the Cinematic Universe has passed then it doesn't make sense for anything to happen after this point it's pretty much conceding to everything that has happened

What if it takes Tony 5 years to get back to earth? Lol, so then the movie can start 5 years in the future and still have the Cap meet Tony first time in seven years scene. I guess that would make the whole Tony's kid speculation not make sense but what if Pepper's pregnant before Tony leave earth? That would also add to the drama since Tony wasn't there for his own kid (in a way like his own father) and he would want to make up for him/her except to save the universe Tony would have to give up this child.
IDK just random thoughts.

WAIT how the hell does getting erased from existence make your clothes and weapons disintegrate? I just thought! There arent any explanations! It cant be because they were touching the characters, theres attachments onto their clothing not touching them that also got disintegrated and it cant be because clothing and weapons were in close proximity to them because theyre touching the ground and the ground near them didnt disintegrate! Holy shit why am I just noticing this now I cant sleep

I got a quote from Elizabeth Olson Yesterday morning when I was watching the video for Avengers 4! Things going get worse before gets better and I agree! That's means before the Avengers like Spiderman Black Panther Scarlett Witch Falcon Maria Hill Dr Strange White Wolf Hank Pym Janet Nick Fury and the Wasp and the Guardians of the Galaxy like Starlord Drax the Destroyer Mantis Gamora and Groot will be back! While coming out of the time vortices he jumps into a time line where she has aged and has not seen him in forever which becomes his main reason for leaving and going back. The lady Cassie became scared her dad so bad he believes by leaving he can prevent that future for her. Same premise with Hawkeye

If there is indeed going to be time travel involved and there's all these leaked photos of the battle of New York, my best guess would be that they will probably somehow utilize the same portal that Loki opened for the chitauri (not sure if I spelled that right) and take the fight to Thanos then before he even had possession of the gauntlet. might be farfetched but it's fun trying to piece everything together

It may take 5 years for Tony to get back to Earth. He was left way out in space and the ship he traveled there in was destroyed. I don't think they'll actually do that big a jump, but this would be a way to still get that Steve/Tony reunion. Cassie's aging could easily be something to do with the quantum realm, or for a scene where Scott travels forward in time and sees an older version of his family.

Old man Tony and the remnants of the Avengers struggle will be similar to what happened in Logan imo. Such sadnesses
