It had moments where the jokes didn t land well, and many times where the acting was not good, and the nostalgia did a lot of the heavy lifting.
Still, I loved it! Had so much fun with it and there was a lot of heart put into this. If anything, the pay off is the ending with how they honored both the old man and the original movie.
Any fan of the first movie is going to enjoy this and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who watches the 24hr marathon on TBS every year.
