Spiderman 2099 is going to have a big role in the sequel for two reasons 1. The spider that bit miles was from send by spiderman 2099 that why the spider was glitchy and it seemed like it was affecting the fabric of reality maybe it wasnt suppose to happen but he change the timeline and hes going to recruit other spiderman to fight a bigger treat
2. He saw what the spiders did in the movie which tells us this event is important for the other events to come and needs to recruit more spiders

The ultimate universe still exists because the Fantastic Four help rebuild it with Peter being Spiderman again this happens in the comics with Spidermen II I believe.
The super collider was actually ran before the movie started. At the start of the movie a friend asked Miles about the earthquake which Miles replied that he slept through it.
Gwen also felt something about Miles before he was bit so it is possible that the spider chose him as well.

It's very much likely that the Spider that bit Miles is from Earth-928, aka home to Spider-Man-2099. After all, it had the words Alchemax etched on its body, which is the name of a major corporation in the year of 2099 in Marvel comics. It's also the place where Miguel O'Hara got his Spider powers and became Spider-Man 2099! My guess is that the Spider was genetically engineered at Alchemax using experiments similar to the ones that also gave Miguel his powers.

Guys, i need help! I am very hyped and i cant wait for it, but i am not sure if its true or not! Is it true, that they are going to make a sequel about it? Spiderverse 2 is going to be about Miles adventure with gwen together and their relationship will grow into a love? They also work already on a Spin-Off of only female Spider characters. and the main female will be Gwen? . i am very confused by this and need answers. thx

Now hear me out. What if the Spider that bit Miles traveled with Gwen considering she was blasted into the week before Miles got his powers. And what if bc there is obvious chemistry between Miles and Gwen that bc he was bitten by a Spider from a different universe and his cells are intertwined with that universe somehow, that is how he would be able to be with her without suffering the cell decay. Just food for thought.

The biggest reason MJ and Peter B Parker split was Peter's failure or fear of committing to children. He was reluctant to starting a family life maybe cause of his 'profession'. After hanging out with Miles and seeing that having kids isn't so bad he takes that 'leap of faith'. I do believe in the comics MJ and Peter have a daughter who also becomes a spider person so seeing that may be cool in future film.

About the spider traveling to the past after entering miles' dimension. In the movie, it was said that the earthquakes were occurring before the initial scene with the five dimensions and before his first day at the school. After all, Gwen was there prior to that as well. If anything the spider was from another dimension but traveled like Gwen from one of the previous tests before miles was bitten.

The question I have is why did Gwen get sent back in time a week unlike all the other Spider people who showed up the same time the collider turned on? Not only that, but why did Gwens spider sense take her to Miles and not Peter Parker, where she couldve helped Spider Man stop the collider. She was aware of Peters existence when she saw the video screen showing Spider Man.

And I dont remember seeing the spider glitching unless you were referring to the scene where Miles goes back to look for it.
