Prometheus?
That is preposterous!
Prometheus is a fascinating study of human nature and taps right into the underlying thematics that make the '79 original so compelling in the first place. It's a grotesquely misunderstood, and thus consequentially underrated, gorgeous looking film that has a lot to offer to anyone willing to pay attention.
If you're going to skip a film in the Alien franchise, skip Resurrection. Its a piece of garbage film that clearly misunderstands the most germane thematics on the most fundamental level.

Jurassic lost world was great and Jurassic park 3 had way to much tea loni screaming an x-Men last stand had a great ending with wolverine and gene and the incredible hulk 2008 was fun and had a nice love story and premthes was fund a little scary and for me was better the alien 2 and 3 also the patom meance was not all bad except for jar jar binks i liked it good visuals acting and story terminator geneises was fast action filled and a great ending much better then t3 and salvation.

The Lost World - You can't make that argument without saying the same about Jurassic World.
X3 - Any attempt to do the Dark Phoenix WITHOUT setting it up through the Original Phoenix story is just dumb.
Prometheus - The most misunderstood movie of 2012.
SW: E1 - You can also skip E2 and be perfectly fine.
T5 - No franchise has ever survived a drop in rating from R to PG-13. Was anyone really surprised here?
Incredible Hulk - This one could go either way depending on who you talk to.

Prometheus is beautifully shot, has amazing special effects, and is at least new and ambitious. You cant say the same thing about Alien Resurrection and Covenant. I get its cool to hate on Prometheus for every little thing but the idea that its the one movie in the Alien franchise you should forget about is just ludicrous. If you care anything about visual storytelling Prometheus should at least get mild respect from most people, the same can not be said about the worst films in the Alien franchise.

it also doesn't help that Emilia Clarke has as much personality as a Terminator, it was a missed opportunity not to cast her in that role. That said, the role of the female terminator in Terminator 3 should have gone to what's her face that plays Captain marvel errmmmm. Brie Larson, because she has aa talent for desplaying zero emotions what so ever, perfect for a robot killer.

Hey and Genisys too, what the hell? I enjoyed that in the theater. Just completely switched off my brain, when this movie sort of _happened_ to me. I do think, that is the best way to describe the experience. At this point in the series, who actually cares even still? It was interesting. At least way better than the garbage fest that was Terminator Salvation.

2 Fast 2 Furious is not only the worst film in The Fast and the Furious franchise, it's also non-canon, as the events in the film contradict everything from Fast & Furious 4 onwards. In fact, Tej (Ludacris) and Roman (Tyrese Gibson) were retconned in Fast Five with characteristics completely different from their 2F2F incarnations.

- X-Men The Last Stand is a lame movie, but it's nowhere near as pathetic as Apocalypse.
- Prometheus is a stellar failure, but Covenant is much worse, because at least, Prometheus tried to do something new.
- Terminator Renaissance was bad indeed, but Genysis makes it sound like a David Lean movie.
