Movies You Won't Believe Were Released 30 Years Ago David: The 2009 Friday the 13th reboot was ill-fated? I checked Box Office Mojo, Budget: 19 million, Domestic Gross: 65 million, Final Global Gross: 91 million. That's a lot for a gory horror remake, it sounds like there was want for more, the 8th Saw film Jigsaw made the same amount and had Lionsgate considering making a 9th Saw movie. Also, it might just be me but maybe the fact that rights issues plaguing the Friday the 13th franchise just might be the reason why we haven't seen another one (the man that originally co-created the series lost a major court battle recently to a co-writer. A popular video game based on Friday the 13th has had to stop new additions to the game because of the court battle. They couldn't even add a rock or a tree to the game because of this. Looper, please do better at reporting in the future. Don't confuse the 2009 Friday the 13th with that crappy Nightmare On Elm Street remake from 2010. The Friday the 13th remake even with its flaws has been one of the better horror remakes. Oh yeah, and personally, I thought Temple of Doom was the best Indiana Jones movie. Besides the horror elements, there's something about watching a hero freeing child slaves as he lays the smackdown on a cult of religious fanatics.

The Abyss was a awesome summer in eighty nine. And I like Back to the Future 2 is awesome movie, I jus thought it a little dark for the time, When I like seen on the big screen back in the fall of eight nine, But really like even more now. Since alternative Biff in 1885 reminds of Trump, And Biff Tower has always reminded of Trump Tower, Except Biff had eat the right look picture in front of his building. Just little details. pick up while watching a movie.

Pet semetary carries a special place in my family history. It was one of my parents first dates and they got so scared they tried to sneak out. A movie theater employee caught them, then ushered them into another movie showing. Cut to five years later and they welcomed me into the world.

Remember 1989 had the worst sequels from Three Horror Franchises.
1. Friday The 13Th VIII Jason Takes Manhattan.
2. Halloween 5 The Revenge of Michael Myers.
And
3. A Nightmare on Elm St. Part 5 The Dream Child.

Never thought about 1989 Batman's influence like that. I always say that X-Men was what started it all in 2000. Maybe Blade a couple years earlier, but never considered those original Batman movies as positive influences.

I was three years old in 1989 so probably did not see any of these movies in theaters. I love Batman, pet sematary, Honey I shrunk the kids, The Little mermaid, back to Future 2 & Bill and Ted's excellent adventure

Back to the future 2 predicted the rise of Donald Trump. Biff's becoming rich by cheating and scamming, Pleasure Paradise is Trump's Tower, Melania the plastic doll wife, and Bikers supporting him, it's all spot on
