The end credits scene should be Cap entering a festive ballroom back in the 40's. The same ballroom he saw in his vision during Age Of Ultron. He looks around seeing everyone celebrating and partying. He then hears a familiar voice greeting him and telling him that You're late. Cap turns around to see Peggy Carter smiling at him and welcoming him home.

She took one hit from the power stone and was practically out the rest of endgame, at most shes as powerful as base hulk, which is no where near the most powerful character in the mcu, theres still characters like doctor strange and scarlet witch, one of which nearly killed thanos and the other who is sorcerer supreme, then theres Thor who has been shown to be able to withstand the power of a dying star and has stormbreaker, a weapon that withstood at least multiple stones from the infinity gauntlet and was still able to cut through thanos to the chest. Saying that shes the strongest character in the mcu is going against the continuity of the mcu and is a cop out move to get more interest in a bland character

And since they hinted to though we haven't seen him yet Adam warlock is more powerful than captain marvel and those are facts and that goes way far back before he was part of marvel he only knows the characters he works with he apparently doesn't know a whole lot about marvel or just doesn't care about the creators and any comics they made in her short 6-7 years of being captain marvel to promote this character before than Ms marvel has never bested Thanos all she is a battery for him and they change that then they are down playing Thanos like all the other villains when it comes to beating them.

Let's just simply look over the fact that characters like Thor exist. Dr strange wields the time stone, Star Lord wields the power stone and is the son of a celestial, vision and scarlet witch both gained their powers from the mind stone which she even manages to destroy and thor is literally a God and stops the the Aether but the strongest character is someone who got hit with energy from the space stone which also sent the red skull (an enhanced super human) to an entire different planet. It doesn't actually make sense for her to be the strongest it'd make more sense if it was Thor or Scarlet Witch

Comic book power levels mean nothing to the MCU, which is a completely different reality. Just like in one reality it was Gwen Stacy who was bitten by the radioactive spider instead of Peter Parker, in the MCU it's Captain Marvel who is the most powerful hero. In the comics Captain Marvel's powers have nothing to do with Infinity stones/gems. Same for Vision, Wanda and Dr Strange. The MCU is a completely different place, just like the Ultimate universe was.

In correct they may said as of yet which means right now she is but she is strong but Thor can easily destroy her and all of the avengers(which he has) Thor has not even shown his rage mode (forbidden for every asgarden by Odin but hes dead and Thor is the rightful king as of now so he can use it) Thor has also beet Thanos bye him self yes so has captain Marvel although it would be a great fight I believe Thor would be on top of the list.
